   My wife and I love Cote; the food, the service and the overall value are almost always 1st class. But tonight…oh boy…we had a terrible experience. After an hour and a half, we left to go to the theatre, hungry and very disappointed. We truly hope that there were local / isolated issues tonight, which resulted in the wheels falling off our most favourite restaurant in almost every respect ☹️🫣!

   The weakest of Cotes I have visited. Food sadly below the usual standard. Onion soup fish parmentier and steak tartare were good. The salmon was indifferent and the minute steak not cooked as asked. Service was decent and friendly.

   Really helpful staff - we needed an accessible table for a wheelchair and they were really attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was well timed and everyone in my party really enjoyed their selections - Burgers were great, but Fish dishes were also super tasty! Unfortunately we didn’t have any room for dessert but will definitely visit again!

   My guests & I found the quality of the food excellent. The service was very good. The one draw back with Cote in Chichester when the restaurant is well patronised, as yesterday lunch time, is that conversation of fellow diners makes one have to raise the level of one's voice in order to be easily heard at one's table.

   An absolutely lovely lunch for our sons 35th birthday 🎂 today The restaurant manager was fantastic with a great hands on approach and interacting with our grandchildren who had a lovely time and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much we will be back soon x
