   Really enjoyable pre-fireworks meal. I had steak and crepes while my daughter had french onion soup and grilled chicken … and shared the banana crepe. We were looked after well by the warm and friendly team and our meal was delicious!

   I have eaten at Cote many times. I was very underwhelmed by the person who showed us to our table. There were two excellent staff - both were quite junior I believe but the others need training.

   Good value and service okay albeit very busy. Waiter attentive and food came in good time.

   The service was very poor. Booked for my birthday. Served main meal and given menu for dessert only to be left sat waiting for about 40 minutes. Not even offered coffee! Restaurant wasn’t t even busy. Dreadful service and definitely won’t be returning. Such a shame as it used to be very good. Not sure if there is a change in management but it was truly awful

   Had a lovely meal with my family and my Mum. Service was so good, I wish I had taken the ladies name, really warm and welcoming. All staff were great. Will definitely go back.

   Food extremely poor my salad was poor and all the lettuce was black. The Salmon was very dry, cooked too much virtually inedible. My friend ordered Beef Bourgogne which was completely dry with no sauce. The Sour Dough Bread was completely stale and toasted (left over from breakast. My other friend order only a cold crab starter as his wife is unwell and he needs to feed her. We waited an hour for our food to arrive on the table and the restaurant was almost completely empty. Was all a complete disgrace to be honest and the service was very, very poor. We had to walk away without eating as the food was that bad. The worst meals we all ever experienced in Cote.

    I love this place, although on that day experience was not good as they were so busy and overwhelmed, service was poor which is unusual but management deducted from the bill as an apology, everyone has a bad day I guess.
