Côte Ouest Bistro is a contemporary French bistro led by partners Laurent Monchicourt & Martin Sarrailh. In April 2021, the pair transformed the former Baker Street Bistro into a modern 21st century neighborhood gem. At the heart of Laurent and Martin's partnership lies a shared dream: to create a restaurant that embraces guests like family, offering a haven where they can delight in delectable food and wine, surrounded by warm companionship.

Nestle into one of the bay window seats and enjoy conversation over a plate of charcuterie with the perfect glass of Bordeaux. Chef Sarrailh prepares seasonal specialties as well as favorite French classics like Steak Frites and Duck Confit. The custard-soaked Croissant French Toast is not to be missed if you stop by for brunch on the sunny terrace.

Côte Ouest Bistro has been featured in Forbes magazine and The Infatuation and was named one of the "Top 100 Brunch Restaurants in the Nation 2024" by Open Table.

                                                We missed French cuisine since our vacation last year and saw the great reviews for Cote Ouest on Open Table. We had a wonderful lunch there this week. The service was impeccable and very attentive. We started with the special of French Onion Soup with had the perfect amount of melted cheese. With the crusty bread and butter it was a great starter. We then shared the mussels and french fries. The fries came in the classic French way in a coned shape paper wrapper. The PEI mussels and broth were to die for and more crusty bread was needed to finish them. More than enough to share. We didn’t recognize the French wines and waiter made recommendations and brought us both tastes to make we liked it. He was right on with his selections. For dessert we shared the apple pastry and ice cream. The pastry was served hot and the ice cream just melted and enveloped it. Heaven. We then had take a long walk along the Marina. We will certainly be back.

                                                Very friendly service with delicious food. The black cod ,marinated in soy sauce, was outstanding. The duck confit, served potato gratin, was very tasty as well.

                                                Always consistent - we had burrata salad, French onion soup and the steak with pomme frites topped off with the apple tart for dessert. Of course the wonderful French Chablis was a good choice.

                                                I've been here for several dinners at it is always amazing! Wonderful, ambiance, service, etc. This is a true (somewhat) hidden gem in SF. If you like traditional French food, this place is a must!
