   Service was efficient and very friendly and the food we had was fresh and nicely cooked. However, apparently they had been very busy during the previous weekend so many items not available on the menu, particularly the Scotch egg that I was really looking forward to!

We do unfortunately have quite a small fresh food kitchen with a small amount of storage so some items do run out throughout the day.    Service staff were excellent - very attentive, service was very prompt and friendly - we sat upstairs and service was 5/5. We brought the dog and they bought her a water bowl and treats. Very nice little pub.

   This will be my first and last visit to Cricketers. My friend and I had the roast and unfortunately what we received was a sorry plate of food. Yorkshire puddings were almost raw, the meat was overcooked, the carrots were undercooked, and the rest was relatively flavourless. Possibly the worst roast I've ever paid money for. On the plus side, the service was very good and the location of the pub was fantastic.

   Had a great experience at this pub. We all enjoyed our food and drinks, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting here again soon.

   Wouldn't recommend visiting on a Sunday, or ordering a roast dinner. I had the beef which was very fatty, way way overcooked and chewy. My friend had the lamb which was also overcooked and tasted very bland. The service was very good despite how busy the pub was, but unfortunately the food and atmosphere was poor. We were sat in the upstairs room and were put up there with 1 other big table who were super loud and had kids running around screaming and playing football in the restaurant.

    Always a great experience in this pub - all staff are super friendly and the food is consistently good. They're really dog friendly too!
