The kitchen, lead by Michael Miles, delivers classic and seasonal menus showcasing the best produce of the British Isles from small-scale and independent producers. Expect modern takes on European and British classics, fresh pastas, charcoal-grilled meat and fish, seasonal vegetables, and comforting desserts.
Alongside an array of sustainable tap wines each season’s wine list will bring a focus to 4 different winemakers, celebrating their individual stories. The wine programme will also include wine tastings and winemaker dinners.

Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a nice restaurant in a lovely space with a very short menu. Unfortunately when we arrived at our booked table most of the menu was already sold out forcing one of us to have only fries as he could not really eat anything else. The food I had was good but I obviously felt rather embarrassed by the situation as I picked the restaurant and invited friends for my birthday lunch there. The bill in the end was definitely more expensive that it should have been and I think it was mostly affected by the fact the cheapest house white wine on offer is more than £40. I would strongly recommend to include at least one cheaper option.

We had the best time at Crispin at Studio Voltaire. They were very accommodating when half of our party were late. The service was brilliant- attentive but not in your face; bit of banter and very charming.
The food was incredible. We were a party of eight so between us we sampled most of the menu and nobody had a bad thing to say about any of the dishes- which I’d say is pretty unusual!
Couldn’t recommend it highly enough and hope that I can find a reason to go back again soon.

The meal started very well with a salad and the cheese croquettes, staff were friendly and welcoming even though it was a little cold inside.
We ordered 3 small dishes and 2 large with a side of grilled greens. This is where the meal changed. One of our small dishes was forgotten, the Mussels were tiny but very tasty with half of them missing. The side greens had so much vinegar on them we couldn’teat them.
The larger dishes the sauce covering the chicken was sickly sweet and the pork was terrible at £32 for a bit of no taste pork (pork is normally cheap, I have never paid this much).
The restaurant were very good about our points and adjusted the bill accordingly. I would not recommend but maybe we just had a bad experience because we had high expectations.

Phenomenal food and atmosphere - a hidden gem off Clapham High Street. The cod, hot honey ricotta chicken and radicchio salad were amazing, will definitely be going back!
