I chose to meet a friend for a catch up lunch at the The Croes Howell which is in a lovely semi rural location, with good views from the window tables. Service was friendly and efficient with our waitress explaining that my choice of pan fried chicken breast was cooked to order thus forewarning a slight delay. When it arrived the food was tasty and nicely presented. The lunch menu had sufficient choice and well priced. Will return and would recommend to others.

Staff and food excellent. Unfortunately our meal was marred by locals threatening to drink elsewhere because we were there. Also regulars pointing and making fun of my wife during my quiet birthday celebration

Our first time eating at this restaurant although we run past it nearly every weekend. The food was very good and well presented. Service was also very good so all in all very happy.

First time back in around 12 months but never does the quality of the food change. This was a catch up Saturday evening meal with friends. All had different from each of the courses and all excellently prepared and presented. Would say that it was reasonably priced for what you get. Staff all very friendly. Will be back again in the not too distant future.

We had an enjoyable lunch. The service was fine if a little slow. One found the chicken gravy too salty, the burger was dry and the mashed potatoes had lots of potatoe skin in it. We didn’t send anything back as what we had was good value for money.
