   We had a lovely evening and meal at Cucina South. The Caesar salad was crisp with just the right amount of dressing. We enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and the butcher special of short ribs. Both meals were outstanding. Our server, Nathan, was knowledgeable and attentive. He made some great recommendations that we enjoyed. I highly recommend Cucina South.

   Always very good to excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful. Specials are as described, truly special. We consider ourselves regulars.

   We had eaten here before a couple of years ago and it was excellent but last night i would rate it a “fair” . The pasta was overcooked. The portions were small were never asked if we wanted fresh ground pepper or fresh Parmesan on anything, etc.. overall not great experience and disappointing.

   We sat upstairs near kitchen . Crowd was noisy and wait staff had to yell coming in every time they entered. Bit annoying. Food and server excellent

   Great dining experience. Server Brittany was professional & efficient. Food was as described & delicious. Generous portions & reasonably priced. Note - beer & wine only.

   Food was great but took a little while for our entrees to come out as they were quite busy. Had to ask for bread which was unusual for an Italian restaurant. Other than that everything was great and would definitely be back.

   This was our first time at Cucina South and we were eager to try everything. Sadly we won’t be returning. Nicki was our server and she was fantastic! Shoutout to her. The seating is “close quarters” and we were surrounded by quite noisy guests, sometimes I had to practically shout to be heard across our tiny table. The vinaigrette dressing on my house salad was amazing and I found out it was a bottled balsamic that we can purchase nearby. Good choice, but no effort on the kitchen’s part. We had the calamari. Good, tender but thick strips of squid that we found unappealing. The veal parmigiana was dry and overly salted. The chicken marsala was merely blackened chicken in a basic brown sauce—I struggled to taste the marsala— with overcooked linguine. It seemed a popular place for locals, and I’m glad for that since all the staff are so nice. But the food is pedestrian and not worth the cost.

   Everything was very nice after a very awkward greeting. Also, We closed the air vent upstairs ourselves which warmed the room, improved a chilly environment. Food and service was superlative.

    The staff all went out of their way to make our Valentine dinner special. While arriving very early for our reservation they still made sure we were seated promptly. Our server Liam was terrific. He was charming, funny and knowledgeable on all aspects of of the specials and standard menu and made suggestions which were wonderful. The food was top notch. A great place for anyone to visit and enjoy their service, food and ambience.
