At Culinary Dropout, raise your glass to friends coming together. A place where food and music are life. Join us at happy hour for ice cold beer and our famous soft pretzels with provolone fondue. At dinner, a signature cocktail and slow braised 36-hour pork ribs are a perfect pair. While you and your crew enjoy damn good food and drinks, a local band plays live for great vibes. Come hang out and stay a while.

Everything came out in a timely manner, my mom and I got our drinks at the same time and it was really nice. They didn’t have the original dish that I had ordered but I was suggested a few different options and I went with the fired chicken which I had before and the manager took care of the mixup. I love coming here with my family just know when you go in the evening hours there may be some live music which definitely adds to the noise. But everything is always so good!

Always love CD. The food and service were amazing as always! The music level was a bit high and made visiting difficult.

Culinary Dropout is one of our favorite Tucson restaurants and we’ve never had a bad meal. This time the service was a bit slow which wouldn’t normally be a problem but we were on a schedule. Also it was noisy mostly due to a large table of children next to us. Haha My favorites are anything with salmon; the kale butternut squash salad adding salmon and their roasted salmon with farro risotto and crispy Brussel spouts are both delicious. I also like the vegan curry with black rice.

We were given great comfortable seating , thank you. Although quite noisy with holiday and sport celebrations. The food was excellent. I had their duck and shrimp with fried rice. The prices are in line with current economy. Waiters were attentive. I would definitely recommend this place.

Service was slow. They had ample staff and not a lot of covers, but the service was still very slow. We requested to sit in the main dining room and were instead sat in the ‘outside’ area. We requested a heater and were brought a broken one. We informed a passing server and they replaced it with a working one. Our pretzels and fondue came out cold. Drinks took awhile to come out, even just iced tea. One of us requested an amaretto sour and were brought an amaro Montenegro. It was just a rough experience

Our server was very nice, but could have checked on us more. The cocktail I ordered was tasty and presented nicely. The appetizers were really good, we ordered the pretzals with cheese and brussle sprouts. I would definitely order them again. The fish and chips were so greasy I couldn't even finish one of them. The fries were a mix of older and fresher ones. The other dish ordered was the peking duck fried rice. It was ok, lots of stuff, but nothing really great and barely any rice. The ambiance was nice but it was very loud so we had to almost yell to talk. The outside area is fun, its nice to offer activities for guests. The place was very clean and had a nice asthetic. The prices were too high for what you get. We likely won’t be coming here again unless the prices go down as its currently not worth the money.
