Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and walking distance from the beach shore, Dal Contadino Trattoria is a celebration of rustic homestyle Italian cuisine. Indulge in a relaxing ambiance while enjoying handmade pastas, a catch of the day, Tuscany steak and daily specials crafted by Chef Nuccio.

Live Music on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays.

It felt like stepping into a charming trattoria in Italy. The food was exceptional—every dish was clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients and traditional Italian flair. We started with the zucchini flowers followed by a pesto chicken with Gnocchi and vodka pasta. The pasta was al dente, and the sauces tasted homemade. Service was top-notch. The staff was attentive without being intrusive.

Last night I wanted something different so I had their salmon on the side of Pomodoro pasta, which was the best. You must try the eggplant potato chips with honey an appetizer otherwise it was just a good experience again and I will be a customer forever. Jeff H

Had a very nice experience here. Monday is half price cocktails and they have a nice selection of cocktails. We had meatballs and the Nuccio's Gnocchi special for dinner. Loved the gnocchi! Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. The only slight negative here is it is a smallish place and kind of loud inside. It has a homey, casual feel, just a bit loud. I hope to go back for that gnocchi.
