“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. Tuesdays are our LGBTQ night, but everyone is welcome. Tuesdays will now feature live jazz bands."

    Made us wait outside 30 minutes post our reservation time. Server rudely told us that we had to book for the vegetarian dishes a week in advance when there was no indication of this on the website.

    Another wonderful evening at the Jazz Bar. As always, great service, food and of course JAZZ! Love the personal touch of chatting with the owner, who still remembered me from visiting 2 years ago - great visit oh and don’t forget to pop into the lovely vintage shop across the road!

    I booked a table here and then tried to cancel 48 hours in advance. I called and left two messages, emailed, and never heard back from anyone. They charged me 60 pounds. Absolute scammers.

    The food and music is really good and in terms of what I was looking for in that sector everything was okay. However, the service isn’t well trained and due to this overcharged us at the end recharging us our deposit despite us telling them this is to be removed from the final bill. The atmosphere also needs a lot of work with such value food and good music it’s a shame the tables chairs and room as a whole are not to a similar standard.
