Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Daniel's Broiler in Downtown Seattle offers a memorable dining experience with "top-notch service" and "fantastic food." The ambiance is elegant, perfect for special occasions. While the steaks and seafood are "delicious," some find the prices high and a 20% service charge surprising. Overall, a great spot for a "celebratory dinner."

Perhaps some of the best steak I’ve ever had, and the cocktails are sublime. Normally it would be 5-star service, however our server seemed to be having an “off” night.

From the terrible greeting from the reception to the incredibly slow service throughout the meal to completely forgetting we were there to celebrate a birthday it was an atypical experience we've come to expect from Daniel's Broiler.

We had allotted 2.5hrs for dinner allowing time to get to our 8pm show that included a VIP experience that the 4 of us were excited about but our service was SOOO slow that we didn't make it in time. The Paramount is around the corner and thought this was plenty of time but the lag time to order and deliver food was horrible. On top of that, we were charged 20% of the total. This should've been based on performance. We usually do more but I was very put off by that especially since the service was insanely slow.

Love Daniel’s Broiler but not this location. Bellevue location is much better. Having said that, our waitress and manager were very friendly and accommodating.

I didn't like that I selected a steak and my server ordered the most expensive steak on the menu for me instead. It was also inconsistently cooked. Half medium well and half medium rare. I requested medium well. Will not be dining here again

I really liked my steak compared to the other Daniel’s broiler. I always go to the one in SLU. But the steak here tasted much better. However their limited menu took me aback . They had no vegetarian or vegan menu. My partner and I always go to the Daniel’s Broiler in SLU because he is vegan and they have a plant based menu he loves. We assumed it was the same here. Unfortunately they didn’t even have a vegetarian menu either. So he ended up just having a small plate of salad. We won’t be coming back for this reason.

First time there. Looks fabulous. Wait staff was super nice but inefficient. A lot of stuff didn’t make it to the table until it was asked for. We even dropped the sides as they never came out. To me the scallops appetizer was too charred for my taste. The entrees were nicely done. My husband loved his Delmonico. I enjoyed the King Salmon, that puppy melts in your mouth. For the price I have received much better elsewhere. I’d still say go ahead and try it. I could have been there on an off night.

Unforgettable! The first visit to Daniel's Broiler Downtown offered the best meal and the best service I have enjoyed in over six decades of living and travel. Rich aged wine paired beautifully with the bacon wrapped scallops and delectable crab legs with creamy hollandaise. The wagyu with lobster and baked potato was perfectly prepared and worth every penny. Loved the mushrooms and the perfect caesar salad. The chocolate decadence and a Beautiful were perfectly delicious for dessert. Flawlessly prepared food, inspired presentation, and our knowledgeable server offered perfect service while honoring our party with privacy and discretion, never interrupted us, and had a beautiful smile and gracious and generous disposition. The service fee was fair for the service level offered, and our server merited a generous tip. Thank you Daniel's Broiler Downtown. You surpassed all expectations!
