Daniel’s is the first place I think of when fine dining is what we want. The food has always been fabulous, and our recent visit was our fourth. The beautiful room and fireplaces lend to the quiet warm ambience for your dining experience. The staff and servers are efficient without constantly hovering giving diners the ability to enjoy the food and to continue their conservation without interruption.

Food was just OK. It’s pretty expensive for what you get. There must’ve been a lot of preservatives in the food because it caused me to have significant heartburn. The dessert was awesome and I would go back for dessert again. Menu was pretty limited, however, for entrées.

Our food and beverages were perfection as always. A sudden rush near the end of our evening caused caused delays in dessert and the check, but otherwise the service was equally excellent. This restaurant is a gift to the Carson Valley.

We have gone to dinner here twice. Both times have been average for the price. I am a glass half full type person, but the quality does not reflect the price in my opinion.

Daniel's provides what the Carson Valley lacks - an elevated farm to table dining experience. Exceptional welcoming staff & owners, expertly prepared dishes that are well thought out with impeccable attention to detail. A foodies dream in a valley inundated with chain restaurants. Our party of three started with Squash Blossom Fritters, Wilted Spinach Salad and BBQ Shrimp Risotto, entree's of Sea Bass, Grilled Salmon and the Duck. My Sea Bass was the best yet, melt in your mouth perfection paired wonderfully with the Amador County Syrah I chose. My girlfriends first time at Daniels and trying duck, the pièce de résistance is that it's served with a generously sized portion of seared foie gras resting on top - she was smitten. My husbands salmon again melt in your mouth, sweet and succulent. I decided on the poached pear for dessert, not too sweet, not overly poached and just the right amount of spice. Truly the perfect evening turning 50+old. Thank you Daniel's for never disappointing, your menu keeps getting better and better.
