Fantastic experience and overall great value for money. The Eye fillet 250gms was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had the Cheese board and the cheese cake both lived up to our expectations. It wasn't busy and the Sunset cocktail of the week was lovely and fruity. The waiter was attentive.

I usually come for dinner at dapl as it's always so good when i'm in Brisbane but i thought i'd try breakfast this time. I was pleasantly surprised. The team at breakfast were very friendly and I got a great cappuccino. I was amazed by the spread of food on offer, so much variety to choose from and there was Dragonfruit which you don't usually see on many buffet so a nice change to the norm. It was a bit quiet in the restaurant but it was really nice and relaxing. The only thing i couldn't see was a newspaper?

This was probably the worst meal we have ever had. It was a birthday celebration and a central location for us with members of our party travelling over an hour in either direction to get there. The food took so long we had 2 of our party served first so they could eat and leave as they had a train to catch (2 hours after our reservation). They left before our food even arrived approximately 1.5 hours after ordering, despite there being very few other patrons apart from people staying in the hotel and eating alone. When the food finally arrive, the steaks were cold, the sauce flavourless and the short rib inedible. The sparkling wine on offer was limited and the bottle we chose was almost 5 times the price in the bottle shop. We were a table of 9 and paid the bill and left with most of the food, besides the chips, uneaten. This restaurant really is the worst we have eaten at in Brisbane.

The advertisement made it look amazing, but in person, it didn’t live up to expectations. The pork belly lacked the crackled skin and was chewy and rubbery. The Paris mash just tasted like plain mashed potatoes, lacking seasoning and chives. For the price, I expected much more, but all I wanted to do was leave.
