   The Davenport has the most spectacular menu. All the food is fantastic. The servers are great with one exception with bartender was very curt she was rude

   The Davenport Press has always been our favorite for years. You feel the warmth as soon as you walk in the door. The service and food is outstanding. The lamb chops are the best!!

   So I’m not sure where the issue was but we ordered the seaford portobello mushrooms and they brought out the wrong mushroom appetizer. They corrected the issue but in their rush to get it out the mushroom was still cold and I didn’t finish it. With out entrees, my wife and I both requested no potatoes. Well both entrees came out with potatoes. We informed the waiter and said it wasn’t a big deal we just would like the extra veggies we ordered. I had the NY strip that was fine my wife didn’t love her snapper over cooked on the edges

   Third time back here but probably last: Food: 4/5. Food has been good thru the years and no issues here overall above average. Appetizer and size: appetizers came fast. But our octopus at $28 only had 1 small tentacle so it was over in a bite. Taste wise appetizers were good Main course: major wait and it was 10 of us. tampered the mood. it took over 50m (no exaggeration) and probably longest wait ever in my experiences. Service: not attentive. Had to flag people bunch of times to get water filled up. They served bread to some tables but disregarded our section few times. Just poor overall Otherwise good food with some problems in other areas.
