   Soup was cold, rib eye was under cooked , vegetables undercooked and the desert was cold as well! It’s too bad , the temperature control at this restaurant is all screwed up!

   Beautiful restaurant with stylish decor, delicious food, and excellent service. The signature lobster bites and New York steak were perfect, but the miso bass stole the show. It was so fresh and soft like butter.

   The atmosphere was good. Very nice decor and ambiance. The staff was pleasant. But the food was average and overpriced for the taste. At least with the chicken and mac&cheese dishes we ordered. Plus, they were out of about 3 things we had ordered. Overall, it was average. But I'd go elsewhere for an upscale experience.

    What can I say , except that this restaurant is truly amazing. We moved locally to Davenports about a 1.5 years ago and always drove by saying”we really should try it” We finally did, and we could kick ourselves for not going sooner. We were made to feel as if we had been regulars for years. The amazing Carl (owner) shared wonderful conversation and laughter with us, and Nigel his son (Head Chef/owner) came to meet us at our table so that we could compliment him on the amazing food we had been served. This father and son duo are an absolute delight and their love is apparent not only for what they do, their restaurant and food but for eachother! The Cioppino and the Tuscan Seafood Fettuccine were packed full of delicious flavor and a good variety of fresh seafood. We also recommend the signature Lobster Bites! Yum! We took desert home as we were too full to eat it after our generous meal but didn’t want to miss not trying something sweet…..the Banana Cream pie….Wow! We can’t wait to go back and plan to do so very soon. Davenports has definitely become our local family favorite. Thank you Carl and Nigel you’re the best!
