   Our server was extremely polite and very hospitable, however, for some reason it took forever for our drinks and food to be served and by the time we did receive our food it was lukewarm at best. It wasn’t busy in the restaurant so perhaps there must have been some staffing issues or something. Either way it took a very long time for our beverages and meal to arrive and they were out of strawberries but we weren’t made aware until after receiving our breakfast which was to consist of strawberry topping. Would have been nice to know this prior to ordering. Given the time it took to get our drinks and meal we didn’t send anything back but needless to say, our dining experience was a huge disappointment so I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon if at all.

   My group arrived for a ladies' night event and there was only one table without chairs available to stand at. No one cleared the debris so we had to clear it ourselves. The bartender wouldn't even acknowledge the line of people waiting for service. After 20 minutes, we decided to forgo the ladies' night area at the bar and sit at a reserved table. The waitress didn't come to our table for 15 minutes. When she did, she took our orders and disappeared for another 15 minutes. She never brought water or bread. We finally received water after sitting for over 30 mins. The table was cluttered with unused wine glasses and a 3 tier appetizer stand which made it difficult to have a conversation. She finally took away some items when the meal arrived. She wasn't attentive at all even though she didn't seem busy. Our server also didn't honor our clear request to have one check split between 4 cards evenly. She brought out 4 checks with varying amounts. Eventually, we were able to pay and get out of there. None of us plan to return. Terrible service.

   The service was excellent. We order David's wedge which was very good. The three pounds of crab legs were well prepared, but only came with one baked potato and the legs were on the small size. Our main entre was meatloaf. The serving size of our meal was very small, the mashed potatoes serving was one small scoop of potatoes and no gravy. The Brussel sprouts were very good but again a very small serving. The meatloaf was terrible. Not only was it a small portion, but it was so hard I had trouble cutting it with a knife. It also was very bland and tasteless. It was so bad that I could not eat it. I took it home in a doggir bag. Our dinner did not come with any bread so, between the two of us, we ate all of the crab legs and left the table still hungry. And the cost of this meal was just over $150.00.

   One of the most amazing (and expensive) brunches I’ve had. Really good food and options on the breakfast buffet with everything from delicious pastries, to eggs, sausage, bacon, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, made to order omelette bar, a seafood bar with stone crab claws, oysters and shrimp, a carving station… you won’t be disappointed. For two people with unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary’s (a must) be prepared to spend about $190 with gratuity auto-added.

   While our server was pleasant and responsive, the quality of the food was severely lacking. The Sunday brunch is way overpriced for the amount and quality of food. The salmon was overcooked and cold.

   We did not have the relaxing experience we hoped for. Beautiful restaurant. But, it took 25 minutes for our cocktails to arrive at the table from the bar a few steps away. There were two people behind the bar and 3 customers sitting at the bar. The restaurant was not busy. The waiter was very friendly and did his best. Our appetizers took 40 minutes and our entrees took an hour. The food was good but not great. The steak with truffle butter arrived with no butter. When asked, plain butter was brought. We went at 6 pm on Saturday and the rockfish was sold out. The salmon with crab had literally 4 small chunks of crabmeat. There were 5 in our group and we were seated at a booth. The arrangement made conversation difficult. Didn’t enjoy our time there.

   Upon arrival at 6:30 pm we were asked if we had a reservation, which were not required. We did not have reservations so, we were waitlisted with an hour wait time in hopes of “larger” parties as we asked for a table for 3. Upon getting a text from Open Door concerning being waitlisted. I clicked on the link and was taken to Open Door and saw several immediate reservations so I booked the one for 6:45 pm. Not sure why the hosted and manager who was standing there upon arrival didn’t just seat us, provide an appropriate wait time, or refer us to reservations. Our waiter William was very nice and informative but a little slow on providing the check, which was discussed four times. The aside from my crab cake that was overcooked and burnt on the bottom, the food was hot and delicious. The peach Long Island from the bar was perfect. Overall, I my boys enjoyed their dinner steak & eggs with red wine and pepperoni flatbread.

    Compared to the usual great food and service at David's, this was a real disappointment. The soup appetizer was barely lukewarm and had to be sent back to be heated up. Then lettuce wedge salad looked as if it had been cut a few days ago as it was brown on the edges. It took over an hour from when we finished the appetizers to when the entrees were delivered. Chicken parm was so over cooked it was burnt on the edges. Risotto was so overcooked it was mush. Two bread puddings for dessert, one came with whipped cream, the other did not. When I mentioned this to the server, she said she would get some. About 10 minutes later, my whipped cream was delivered.
