Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!
Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Nico Bakh is partial to a homey dish called lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

    Delicious and elevated, every flavor that came out of this kitchen was more exciting than the last. Perfectly seasoned, excellence hospitality and incredible wine list. I am already excited to go back to this gem.

    It’s was cold , in a strong cold wind, I don't recommend sitting outside in such weather, we got very cold. But food was very tasty

    We had a wonderful dining experience - Bella is a great waitress and the food was excellent. We were so glad we could share this experience with our friends. We will be back!

    Our first time to DEDIKo and we can’t wait to go back. Not really having much exposure to meals from Georgian region we were a little tentative. Every single thing we choose from the appetizers/spreads, salads and main course ( lamb skewers & bean pot) was scrumptious. The desert was divine….we ended up getting another slice of the shortbread layer cake to go so we could experience the delight wall over again. The ambience was elegantly simple and peaceful. Will definitely be back again soon. We have eaten at many fine restaurants and this was up there with the best of them ✨✨✨
