   So my husband and I came with some family members for my birthday on 2/1. I looked on CCD website to make sure it was still restaurant week. Which stated until 2/1. First upon entering building the lobby to check in was crazy the hostess were talking amongst themselves and seemed a bit overwhelmed. When we were finally seated we sat downstairs in the vault. The table we had was a very nice corner table. Our waiter Nick who at first seemed hospitable however he talked very fast and I felt like he was more into sales of the food rather than what we actually wanted to order. The first thing I noticed was that there wasn’t a restaurant week menu. So when asked he said it ended the night before 1/31. That was never displayed on the website. So annoyed we still decided to stay and order. After ordering after about his service was rushed he hardly checked on us and when our food came he decided to distribute our sides on our plates, we never said that we were sharing any sides amongst one another but he insisted that guest usually share their sides. He took it upon himself to distribute our sides on each individually plate. We obliged because for me it was my 1st time here. My guest have been here before and they said they never experienced that before. It was my birthday and to be honest I usually go to another restaurant but wanted to try here because of the restaurant week menu. Needless to say. We were still enjoying our meal before the crew started to come out and break tables down and clean while we were still eating. Nick then came and the main side that we enjoyed he took away and couldn’t pack it up we literally had to tell him that we were taking our sides home because of the left over food. But he took one of sides in a rush to clean the tables. I never felt so uncomfortable and rushed during my dining experience. I heard many things about this restaurant while the food was exceptional the service and the uninformed change of restaurant week was disappointing

   Great meal, ambiance and service! Michael took great care of us. My steak was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. Even the house red (Cab) was so good we never bothered to look at the wine list. We’ll be back for sure!

   We had a great meal. We both got the filet. We had the mushrooms and mashed potatoes both were delicious. The only issue was that they charged us for an unprompted dessert. They kindly brought him a piece of cheesecake for his birthday after asking if we were celebrating anything special. We were caught off guard when we got the bill and they charged us for a dessert we didn’t ask for. Weird! If the waitress would have communicated that we were going to be charged for it I would have preferred to let him choose it!

   it was AMAZING. me and my boyfriend really enjoy out visit. the food was flavorful and delicious. you just have to try it to believe it

   Sat in vault on lower level so noise was at a level you could talk. Drinks were ok but not at level expected. Meal was tasty, well prepared and portioned just right.

   We had a wonderful time and the food was truly amazing! Our server Ashley B was phenomenal and attentive! Overall definitely would recommend for a nice outing!
