   After multiple visits to this Del Friscos, this was the first time our food came out room temp/cool, service was slow, and the value for what was received was well below expectations of this level of steak house. The ahi tuna was not the best and not the worst I’ve had. Solid average for that. The scallops were served at room temp, a little chewy, and the market price of $72 was excessive for that dish. Visit Del Friscos on a weeknight or when it’s less busy and you’ll be impressed. Visit on a Saturday night and be prepared for underwhelming service and long wait times for food and drinks.

   The food and service both were excellent. There is lot of choice for people who do not want to eat beef. The arrangement was good and we had a great time.

   My overall experience was not good from start to finish and not a great way to celebrate your birthday. We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation. My $51 Chilean Sea Bass and crab fried was cold and so was the lobster mac n cheese and the $65 steak. The waiter didn’t know what to do when I told him all of the food was cold and then the manager had the nerve to come ask if I want hot food. Please don’t waste your money at this place. There are better steakhouses for less money and they sit right across the street from them.

   All entrees, sides and salads were excellent. The service was outstanding, from the valet, greeters and servers. The atmosphere is beautiful and relatively quiet considering most tables were occupied. Definitely worth the cost and perfect for a special occasion.

   We made dinner reservations for Wednesday night to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. Reservation was for 7 pm. When we approached the door a taped letter read we will be closing at 8pm tonight . I told the host that we were not informed of this prior and should we go elsewhere. She assured us we would not be rushed and to stay. The restaurant was almost completely empty. I asked the server if it was because of the weather (it was 39 degrees no rain) He said they were closing early because they thought the restaurant would be slow. Again. Reassuring us to stay. Drinks, appetizers all great. We paced ourselves enjoying the celebration. Dinner came and the steaks were not up to Del Frisco’s reputation. I love Ceasar salad but this one I did not enjoy. Dinner ended abruptly with the lights being turned on brightly indicating that the restaurant was closed and they wanted us to leave. Even though I made the reservation indicating it was my sister’s birthday there was never any mention of it. Most likely because they wanted us to leave. If I am going to spend that much money on dinner , I expect to be given the chance not to be rushed out of the restaurant. Very disappointing

   Service was really slow. Not enough help. Took a while for the dinner to complete. Not the best night.

    Service and food were excellent. 4 large tables of 5-6 men each made it pretty loud. It was not terrible but it was hard to hear each other.
