   Was seated at dirty table. Waiter working between tables and bar was not available and attentive as I’m use to w/ Del Frisco’s. Overall the visit was underwhelming

   Wish we could say the experience was good but other than being overly attentive on waters and the food tasting good this place is subpar. The staff isnt aware of basic gestures like sitting arrangements and such. If you make a reservation here especially well in advance you expect to be sat to experience the view and the ambiance and to have ample space for your food. Poor excuse for a steakhouse… the manager tried to come over and tell us they were busy but bro… if you were busy we can tell, the fact of the matter is that they do not pay attention and arent worried about letting others experience the ambiance and so why go there? Pathetic! Plenty of places that are far better both Seneca and this are blah, not worth it in my humble opinion

   This dinner was spectacular! I have to tell you from the start we almost left. We reserved a table with a view and as everyone knows San Diego weather is unpredictable. The wind was rough and heaters were not cutting it. We had our drinks and we're ready to pay. At a steak house like this you already know dinner is super pricy. I'm not paying $300 to be shivering. Thank you so much to Frank who came by and suggested to our server Joshua's we might like the fire pit. It was amazing!! No more wind chill we even got a little warmer. This made our Valentines dinner. Joshua's went out of his way all night to make our experience amazing as well. Now the food ! I came here not expecting to be swept off my feet. Dinners lately have been kind of disappointing in SD. Tonight we were blown away by this rib eye in truffle butter. I asked for it to be a little charred and red on the inside. The meat was tender and juice spilled onto plate. The potatoes were one of the best things I've had in my mouth. I can not tell you how much I appreciate food seasoned to perfection. The bread was the opening act with how soft buttery, and fluffy it was. The calamari in sweet Chile sauce was different then any calamari we've ever had. Fried to perfection. My lemon drop martini was made by the GODS. I can not wait to come back here once we get our sunny San Diego vibe back. Love is definitely in the air tonight. WOW

   It took about 10 minutes of multiple servers walking past us before we were even offered water. We were sat next to the door to their patio (which was not in use) and their staff kept going in and out of the door making it extremely cold sitting there. We ordered the meatballs, crab cake, 28oz bone-in wagyu, and chocolate cake. The meatballs were lukewarm-warm which was disappointing because the flavor itself was good. Overall it was just disappointing, and this will not be a place we return to.

   This was the worst experience. I have been before and it was delicious but this time it was terrible. So bad- I won’t be back. First, we were seated outside and it was freezing (odd when we had a reservation weeks in advance and it didn’t note as outdoor) and the heater near us was broken. We were freezing the entire time. Second, my steak was cold. It was undercooked but I had waited so long I didn’t want to chance sending it back but the middle was cold. It was disgusting and not the quality of steak you expect. Third, it took forever. We waited 1.5 hours for our meal. Crazy. The entire night I wished I made us a reservation at Ruth Chris or Born and raised. Hell, I would have rather just did something less fancy and enjoyed it. We left so unsatisfied. Worst way to spend Valentine’s Day. We won’t be back. This was just too much of a bad experience for an upscale steakhouse.

   I’m not exaggerating when I say I had the best steak of my life at Del Frisco’s San Diego . Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. But the incredible food wasn’t the only highlight. Our waiter was exceptional – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience! Highly recommended.

   Came here for valentines..first time here. The hostess was very rude, did not say one word to us and avoided eye contact. She brought us to a back room where they had added extra tables that were practically right next to each other..at one point she sat the table next to us and bumped through our chairs with no apology..food was okay but was not warm. Ambience was loud and decor was tacky..just not a vibe we liked. Had a sign at the hostess stand that had a very strict dress code and also implied that if you didn’t fit it you could be asked to leave, yet there was a dog at the bar that a guest had brought. All for pet kids allowed at restaurants but the two didn’t fit..Definitely did not make an impression and would not go back. Should’ve stuck with Ruth’s Chris

    The food was amazing! We had the crab cake, tomahawk, and lobster mac n cheese. It was sooo good and service was great!
