   Food and service was okay. When we got there a couple minutes (maybe 5 min) checked in. It was early so not full seating. Hostess greeted us, said just a minute. Took longer that, so when I asked if we were ready to be seated, Hostess said, " Your reservation is for 5:15, its not 5:15 yet. Really??? Open tables all over the place....

   My dry aged NY Strip steak (med rare) was overcooked (med-med well). Wait staff was inexperienced but that was understandable as it was NY Eve. Others (4) enjoyed their meals (short ribs, rib eye, and filet were excellent). Overall, IMHO, not worth the cost here. I’ve been here four or five times with friends and each time am underwhelmed with the overall experience. Probably because I compare it to the Del Frisco’s in downtown FW which my wife and I really enjoy.

   Steaks were overcooked. Had to send back to kitchen. No attempt to adjust bill, which I would have expected. First time I’ve been, and likely will not return. Missed opportunity to impress

   My family and I were excited to dine at Del Frisco’s in Southlake, as we’ve always enjoyed memorable experiences at their Dallas location. This time, we chose Del Frisco’s to celebrate New Year’s with a special dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Our reservation was for 6:30 PM, and we arrived in the parking lot at 6:29 PM. Surprisingly, I received a call from the hostess as we parked, asking for our status. I informed her that we had just arrived, but she insisted on reminding me that we only had six minutes before our reservation would expire. This seemed unnecessary and set an odd tone for the evening. Regardless, we checked in promptly and then had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us. From there, the service lagged significantly: 30 minutes to receive my drink, an extended wait for appetizers, and over an hour into the experience before we ordered our entrées. When the entrées finally arrived, my medium steak was well-done and inedible. I returned it, and two other requested items were forgotten entirely. I reminded the waiter not to charge us for those items as he forgot them. To add to the disappointment, my second drink, which I ordered when we ordered our main course, never arrived—even by the time we all finished eating. On the positive side, the staff was professional, and the manager and waiter acknowledged the struggles. They credited my steak and a dessert as compensation. However, at the price point of Del Frisco’s, this level of service and execution was unacceptable. While mistakes can happen, the combination of delays, missteps, and missed expectations made this a disappointing evening. For the price and reputation, I would have had a far better experience elsewhere. Sadly, this visit has left me hesitant to return to the Southlake location in the future.

   My opinion is that it isn’t worth the price. Food was average and the kitchen was slow. Decor was nice, but don’t sit in the booth by the window upstairs. The draft from the air conditioner keeps it freezing.

    I ordered the steak burger. It was horrible. Sweet potato fries overcooked sent back to kitchen. New fries came at the end of our meal which were fine but late. Waiter was rude.
