   Honestly would love to leave a good review, but just can’t do it. Scallops had zero taste, 8 oz filet looked like a small frozen hockey puck from Omaha Steak and was way too salty. I didn’t try pasta but guests said it was overcooked and lobster chewy. Worst part is I’m still in shock at an upscale restaurant they use the remote credit card machine and the waitress stood over us as she processed our credit card and handed it to us to complete the tip portion. Nice waitress, but not a classy process. Go back to a paper itemized bill in a leather billfold. We will not be back to Del Mar.

   Food was good. Service was extremely slow every step of the way. We weren’t greeted for at least 15 minutes after we sat. Food did come out fast, although we had 2 stops with the wrong food. Seems like service wasn’t orderly and staff was new, although our waitress was really sweet and friendly.

   We had a really nice dinner. The newly remodeled restaurant is truly beautiful, upscale and glamorous. Food was delicious, obviously heavy on seafood options but also a decent selection for non-seafood eaters. Prices are what you would expect for a nicer, fine dining experience. We did think the wine prices were a bit outrageous, with bottle pricing about 3x retail and by the glass pricing even higher. Obviously expect to pay a premium in a restaurant, but it seemed excessive. Otherwise, fair value & we will be back.

   We went for my birthday and had a wonderful girl’s night. The starters and shareables were great to split between a group of five. Ed was our server and he was amazing!

   Another beautiful Cameron Mitchell restaurant with modern and elegant surroundings, friendly staff and great food. Our server Dwayne was excellent.

    We went to Del Mar to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was excellent! Our table overlooked the Easton town square with the tree and lights. The cocktails (Old Fashioned and Lemon Drop Martini) were top notch and the mushroom flatbread was warm and soft. Our entrees (the scallops and the ribeye dinner) were so good and full of flavor--one of the best steaks we have ever had in Columbus. For dessert we had the Turkish mocha torte and espresso which was also delicious. Our waitress was fantastic! This was a perfect birthday treat and we hope to be back soon!
