In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Melon Bank ever built, we pay homage to its past! We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria.  Chefs reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

    Excellent food! Rigatoni with meatball (prepared Al dente), fig salad is outstanding, as is the spaghetti with wine sauce and fried artichoke app. Apple calzone dessert is really good. No complaints about seating, either upstairs or downstairs, but downstairs can be very noisy.

    Della Terra does not disappoint. The food was amazing- HIGHLY recommend the Garlic Bread, Meatballs, and Cesar Salad. Brie was an amazing server. We will definitely be back.

    Very enjoyable evening. Food was excellent, as was service. Only objection was excessive noise level when we arrived. The noise minimized a but as bar patrons departed. Overall, a nice experience. We’ll be back!

    It was a lovely evening. Alexa was our server and she was great. Food delicious as always! Handcrafted cocktails were perfect!!

    Frustrating experience trying to find parking. If only we'd have know it was the xmas parade and light up night. Almost drove home until I found out we'd be charged $50 if we didn't show up for our 7PM reservation . . . even though I called to explain the trouble we were having.

    Food was amazing. Party of 6 and everyone loved the appetizers and the entrees. Smaller menu but that just means each dish has been perfected! Server was wonderful, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was noisier than I expected as the outside looks dark and I expected it to be a little more quiet/more ambiance. The only drawbacks - the restroom is down stairs so you must be good with steps and silverware should be replaced between courses. If the prices are a bit upscale the service should match. Over all, highly recommend for the amazing food!
