Welcome to the Detroit Fish House Steak & Oyster Bar
We are a new seafood, steak and oyster bar located in Shelby Township, MI.

At the Detroit Fish House, we are committed to excellence in all that we do. Our seafood is all “top of the catch” and impeccably fresh and the wines are hand-selected from all over the world to complement our menu. The most important component though is, of course, our service. It is the mission of the Detroit Fish House to exceed our guests’ expectations for extraordinary food, beverages and guest service in a warm & welcoming facility. This will be accomplished through the relentless pursuit of excellence in all of our menu items, an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest service and our sincerest desire to treat everyone as if they were a guest in our own home.

    From my wife's Passionate Flame Margarita and my King of Manhattans through the Fresh Peachtree Oysters and Fried Lake Erie Smelt, the Lobster Bisque (best I've ever had) and the New England Clam Chowder (best my wife has ever had), to my Bacon Wrapped Georges Bank Scallops and my wife's Paul's Swordfish N'Awlins, everything was fresh, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully by our wonderful server April. The Creme Brule I received as a Birthday Dessert was delicious and generous.We will definitely be back.

    It was very expensive. Cost was $175.00 for two of us. Small portions. Not with going back, not worth it.

    Had reservation and they sat us by the door with a full lobby of people right behind us. We asked for seating away from the door and they said No. We weren’t in a hurry (thank goodness) but service was super slow. Reservation was at 7:00 and didn’t get out of there until 9:30. On a positive side, Calamari and Papa Bear Bowl were both great. We’re all about paying for a good meal but for the ambiance of sitting in the lobby, it wasn’t worth $250, with tipping well, for two people.

    On NYE, our group of four started with the impressively delicious seafood tower, a bounty of various shellfish! The lobster bisque was yummy, followed by the Wagu tomahawk steak for two, just as flavorful and tender as expected , and the delicious Sea Bass. Service was very good, especially for New Year's Eve, making the whole dining experience a pleasure.
