   Everything at DEUX Bistro was wonderful. We started with the marinated olives and the baguette. I ordered from the tasting menu and had the tomato bisque and it was thick, creamy, full of flavor. My entree was steak frites and I will simply say it was melt in mouth delicious. The portion size was perfect for a small appetite. My husband ordered the French onion soup and it was spectacular! The flavor was perfect, not salty, the onions were diced, and the presentation was beautiful. His entree was Loup de Mer served with green beans and almonds. He ordered mashed potatoes as a side. He was in heaven! The desserts were also amazing!! Everything was served hot, fresh, and timely. We were able to take our time and enjoy our meal. The service was wonderful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience dining at DEUX Bistro and look forward to coming back.

   I’m sorry to say that the food and it’s preparation has changed dramatically. My husband and I loved to come in for the escargot, hamburger, and rotisserie chicken. The hamburger is now planned and Dry and unremarkable, the chicken is now fried and differently, flavored, But I will say that the escargot appears unchanged. Unfortunately, this is not the experience that we came in to enjoy so many times before.

   A great brunch spot that will transport you back to Europe! Their baguette is fresh out the oven and steamy and delicious! Everything was a hit from their beet salad to their egg dishes. Can’t wait to be back for dinner, too. This is my new regular spot for sure!

   Relatively mediocre place. Chicken dish was undercooked, steak was a bit too salty. When we ordered trout, 25 mins later the waitress realized they were out of it. French fries was great but so as McDonalds.

   Excellent small French bistro in Woodland Hills. The menu is small and easy to navigate, but the food is outstanding. Starting with the house made bread and butter. The burger and steak frites were standouts for us. Excited to return for more.

   This was a great find. Wonderful service and ambiance. I had the endive salad and their trout. The salad was amazing. I wish the trout was a little less oily. Nevertheless, I’ll be back for sure.

    We were looking forward to trying this new restaurant. We walk in and the owner, who is the maitre d/ host, greets us with little enthusiasm, didn’t seem at all excited to see us and basically not very friendly. So first impressions were not that favorable. We are a couple that goes out to eat every a lot, so if we love a restaurant we will frequent it almost every week so big mistake. We were not impressed with the food. Nothing knocked our socks off. We shared the endive salad pretty bland and un memorable. I had the steak frites. Majority of the steak was chewy and impossible to cut. My husband had the beef berginoun  and there was hardly any beef. The restaurant was hot and stuffy and extremely loud. We didn’t even want to stay to try dessert. Unfortunately we will not be going back again and we live right up the street.
