Devlin’s Country Bistro and Catering is upscale Contemporary dining with continental cuisine. We are located in the quaint village of Mount pleasant in a newly renovated 200 year old home. We are known for our locally sourced ingredients and scratch made cuisine. Our canadian prime grade, dry aged steaks are sought after by most along side our renown caesar salad, seafood linguine and oysters.

As always Karen was outstanding. Food was pretty darn great too. Tasty and satisfying portions! Well worth every dolllar.

Rather expensive and lacking variety in flavours. The starters range around $20+. The main for the table was their All Aboard at $225 with not much on it. The vegetable medley was some brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The bread pudding was stodgy and tasteless.

From the moment we walked i, we had wonderful service. Kyra G seated us and was so lovely and welcoming. The sommelier and wait team was attentive, knowledgeable and so very helpful. Our meal was terrific even though I could not finish it all!!

We had not been to Devlins in a year or so. We had high hopes, as last visit was excellent. First off, our server and sommelier were fantastic, as well as the junior serve staff. I ordered the bacon wrapped duck breast over papardelle noodles and mushroom sauce. The pasta was perfect, however the duck breast was dry, even wrapped in bacon. A little overcooked for my taste. My wife ordered perch, which was excellent, however the beef tallow fries were less desirable. As a connoisseur of fresh cut fries, these were not. In fact, I think they were frozen fries. It's not that hard to make fresh cut fries, especially if a restaurant deems itself "fancy". We were hoping for better. Another year, perhaps?
