Half of the entrees are designated “spicy” limiting one’s choice. The starters were average, my steak was excellent, the meat loaf was also good. Pistachio linguine was good but added shrimp tough. As a wine club member (after bill was initially given) wine discount is excellent however free starter was not applied. Overall we will go back but skip starters. We also had a $20 service charge - not sure what it was for ? Adam

My husband and I met a dear friend and her husband for dinner. They had just returned to the US after being abroad for a few years. We had much to catch up on. The table where we sat wasn't in the greatest location. It was behind the check-in counter and in the direct path where other tables exited the restaurant. We were seated at the table for nearly 20+ minutes before we waved someone down to ask for a waitress. When the appetizers and entrees arrived, they were delicious. The service continued to be spotty, but the meal itself was very good. We will go back, but we will ask to sit in the bar or in a booth.

The roast was great. Might change the empty beer bottles for some nice vases. Have the waiters don some nice provided shirts with "Lescombes|" on it. And ask that they shave before being waiters or at least trimed better. Rod Kontny

Our first time here. Very noisy, had to raise our voices to hear one another. Beet salad ok, but I don't care for frisee lettuce. Offering half a salad would be nice, I didn't finish it. Calamari excellent, accompanying marinara not exceptional. My husband was happy to have several chicken options, but the two that were breaded used cornstarch, and he can't eat corn. Honey mustard chicken breast a bit dry and overcooked, wouldn't order again. Oh, and my ice water smelled/tasted of chlorine or bleach. Mentioned it to manager, he started defending his position, oh, well. We'll give it another try in the spring, when we can eat outside. I did like their merlot. Place was packed early on a Friday night, so it may survive. Hope they can do better over time.

NM pasta was definitely not something we'd order again. The chicken tasted canned and had no heat at all. But the wine and fish and chips were good!

It’s so nice having this restaurant on the north side of town plus it takes reservations! I can’t wait to use the patio!

Everything was high quality - the food, the wine, the service - the overall experience was outstanding. It’s a beautiful building in a great location (the old Falls Steakhouse) with a perfect view of the Sandias. A lovely location for anything from lunch to a celebration of any kind.
