Service was slow and inefficient. Food was bland and tasteless. Six dollar Coke served was flat and dated expired June 2023. No refund. under new management.

Where to start? At the hostess stand, the two ladies were not welcoming at all. When they finally found our reservation, they merely pointed us into the dining room and said go right. Well, I'm pretty sure I could've done that myself. Moving on... water was not forthcoming. Neither was a server. When she arrived (and I could not tell you her name since she didn't tell us), she explained that she was very busy. Ok. Could we get some water? And we'd like to order some wine. When she finally came back to take that order, we understood that we needed to order our entrees whenever she was there again. We explained that, likely like many others in there, we had tickets to the show. Our server informed us that the main singer wouldn't go on until 9pm so we had plenty of time. Never mind that we might want to go to the bar before the show, use the restrooms, and/or see the opening act before the main event. And isn't that our decision? So. Weird. We had a 6pm reservation for a reason! Is the wine coming? Is it not coming? Never mind about the wine but I see other tables with bread, could we have some too please? Well, apparently not because that never came either. I ordered a steak and finally had to walk over to the bar to ask for a steak knife. Honestly, the food was all good. I can't fault the kitchen for anything. But the service is crazy bad. When I asked for the check, she had it with her (that's good) and it was correct (that's good too). But for as much time as she spent walking past our table, that was the point at which our server decided to stay right at my side (literally) while I decided the tip. I can only say that I'm glad that the restaurant does not add an automatic gratuity to parties of four because we really did not have time to argue but I would have. This is a shame. It's a beautiful restaurant and the kitchen is doing it's job well. The front of the house needs some serious Give A Damn and they just do not have it.

I had requested a table by the window, but they said they couldn’t do that because of other reservations.. Well, there were at least three empty tables by the window the whole time we were there.

Our server was nice, but the service was slow. Ordered the trout, it was fishy & overcooked. They did comp it, drinks were good, but again, took a long time to get them. The location is very convenient, but I’m not sure if I’d go again to eat.

Excellent as always - thank you to our server Francisco for taking good care of us. Smokey old fashion was served table side and v good, so was the chocolate martini. Overall, one of our favourite places to dine!

Waitress was overextended. It took many minutes before even a drink order was taken. Then 3 drinks arrived but the fourth did not. We were charged $17 for a mocktail, as if it had liquor in it. Two meals arrived, 2 others arrived ten minutes later. Because of foo allergies, we called the day before. We were told chicken would be safe but when it arrived it had things on that had not been discussed. We only made it to the show on time because we were already in the building. The 2 free desserts were less than delicious.

We eat there because it is convenient before a show at the Hobby Center. If better restaurants were within walking distance (not too small or crowded - FB Cultivated), we'd probably dine here less. Having said that, the food is good. It would be nice if they changed up the menu every now and then. Over the years, the service has been an issue. This time, our first course (salad and crab cake) came out within 10 minutes of placing our order. The entree came out before we were halfway through the first course! I understand this is not a regular restaurant with staff who work 5-6 days a week all year round. This only means that management—the front of the house and the expediters in the kitchen—needs to be more hands-on during service. We still plan to dine here in the future, but if more restaurants were within walking distance (like Bayou Place or Lynn Wyatt Park), we'd probably eat here less often.

The environment and service (Camila) was fantastic. Caesar salad 5/5 Prime rib 5/5 Lemon cheesecake 5/5 I requested for a well done steak and the chef was skilled enough to make it tasty.
