   Last night marked my inaugural dining experience at Divan, and it certainly did not disappoint! The valet service was quite affordable, and despite the bustling atmosphere, I was pleased to find that I didn’t wait long at all before my car was whisked away. Upon entering, we were met with a warm welcome and swiftly shown to our seats. The ambiance struck me as elegant and refined, creating the perfect backdrop for our meal. Haniyah, our server, was exceptional—she took the time to walk us through the menu, offered stellar recommendations, and checked in on us throughout the evening. I opted for a refreshing sangria, while my husband chose a delightful pomegranate wine—both drinks hit the spot! Following Haniyah's suggestions, we indulged in the hummus duo, Spice Roasted Double-Cut Lamb Rib Chops, and a flavorful curry with prawns. Our main dishes arrived in a timely manner, piping hot and cooked to perfection; they were utterly delectable, and the portion sizes were just right. We left no morsel behind! Although I had to skip dessert this time around, I’m already dreaming of a return visit to savor those sweet endings. I can hardly wait for my next culinary adventure at Divan!

   Tables are extremely close together. Felt like we were dining with the table next to us. Food took forever to come out. When our appetizer finally came out our entree came out with it. Silver was not cleaned. Front door hostess was extremely rude to coworkers in front of customers and was not welcoming or pleasant at all. Had reservations and ended up sitting and waiting to be seated for over half an hour.

   The wait time with a reservation is way too long .. about an hour. They should manage their capacity and not book more than what can be accommodated.

   To start, we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Then we were seated 3 floors up (via stairs) to a dining area that was clearly not regularly used. Decor was poor, mix matched chairs, everything worn looking, felt thrown together. The main level and even second floor seem much better. Then the food. Everything came out cold to lukewarm. We had the eggplant appetizer and it was cold. Mussels appetizer and there was barely any broth and it was barely room temperature. For the main, we had the tenderloin steak kabob. It was also just warm. We had heard good things and thought we would give it a try. Won’t be back. Will stick with the other two, far superior, establishments in this cuisine: R***’s & D** B**. Finally, beware of the valet drivers. One of them tried to get us to pay cash/CasApp and double the rate. If you go, just use the standard valet app.

   Booked reservations for 9 o’clock didn’t get seated until 945… our server made the night better very good service but the wait was absolutely ridiculous

   Food was great!!.. However, their follow through on the entirety of the promised experienced left us a bit confounded and left much to be desired. We had temperamental issues such as food timing, bad table wobble, forgetting our champagne (and never bringing it), not seating us in the section we reserved, etc. Food was the saving grace here. The ambience and vibe was a little crowded and noisy. The overall value of the experience did not equate to the money spent for the night. 7/10.

    We loved it! It was loud, but it was Valentine’s Day and was packed so to be expected. Our waitress was amazing… somehow the food was better.
