I was shocked on the size of the restaurant. It’s very small no need to be on open table in my opinion. They had one table by the door that in my opinion shouldn’t be there not alone try to sit someone there! I never seen anyone check me in for my reservation that I made on open table. No one was writing down ppl as they came in to eat. So I had to tell them that I was next when a table for 2 became available. I am not sure if all of their previous staff walked out that week but the hostess was on her first day and our waiter was on his 3rd of working there. They happy hour drinks. I did order a 7.00 frozen margarita. It was delicious. I proceeded to order the BBQ shrimp that I been waiting all day to try out until I was told that the head was still on the shrimp. I passed on that. My guest order the gumbo only to be told that it was not available. It was 530pm , you open at 3pm what happened to the gumbo. I order the fried shrimp and oysters with a side of cabbage. They were delicious but not worth the price. I believe it was 35.00 for 3 shrimp/3 oysters. The cabbage was served like soup. They didn’t drain the juice off prior to serving it. It was delicious as well. We ordered wings as the appetizer they didn’t come until we had our entree. Too much breading on the wings not good at all. My guest ordered the lamb chops. She said that they were delicious. The entire time we are there we see the owner keekeeing with everyone in the restaurant except us. I guess we were NOT in the right age group for socializing. We brought to his attention as we left out!

My server was nice and polite. Seems to be popular in the community. The space.. Extremely tight and cramped. Too many customers allowed in for such a small space. There was a large group celebrating a birthday. Extremely loud. Borderline obnoxious.. I felt like I had yell to speak to the person sitting in front of me. Food-Average. Nothing to complain about. But nothing to brag about. My recommendation. Bigger location and please stop perpetuating the narrative of black owed restaurants having to act like nightclubs. Just want a good meal . Not a turn-up session.

Quality service! I placed and received and placed an order for salmon bites, fried lobster, and the house sangria. Everything was delightful😀

It was my wife's and I first time there and we love and know Creole and Cajun food first hand. That said, it was the worst food experience we've had in a very long time and not worth the $85 we spent on lunch for two people. The food was either too salty or over cooked. Especially, the Jambalaya. The rice was downright mushy and flavourless. The broiled oysters were too salty and too many fried options on the menu. The highlight of the meal was the red beans and rice. That was cooked perfectly. What we were hoping for was more fish options that weren't fried, like red fish or even catfish. Lastly, they sat us at a table next to the bar with the a loud fan blowing in our ear of some drink machine at the bar. The seating layout was weird and disorganised All in all, it was a disappointment, we had high hopes, and I highly doubt my wife and I will return to eat.

Didn’t have what we want which was the eittife bowl. Fried foods was fire. Pasta noodles wasn’t it but did give a lot of crawfish n chicken shreds. Wasn’t worth 30 though. Margarita flights was ight to no ice just. Just hot margaritas. Probably won’t be back though.
