   Sat outside. Perfect weather. Service was great. Very attentive. Good was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

   Had an okay dining experience but the service was terrible. Came with a large group and left after paying the bill. Was called by the team at Osteria a couple of hours later and was told “you haven’t paid the bill” when we most definitely did. The man on the phone during the first conversation was confrontational from the start, didn’t apologise for the mix-up and didn't admit that they had made a mistake with our bill. It felt like we had to resolve the issue for them. In the end we had to go out of our way after numerous phone calls to return to the restaurant to pay the remainder of the bill. Very poor form especially as they wasted our time when it was their error from the start! Will not be returning.

   We are now regulars at the DOC Osteria. The food is delicious, and the service is very personal. Great atmosphere and great for both a quiet dinner as well as dinner with friends!

   Get the chicken and the focaccia! Staff are so lovely, food was amazing and it just has a nice feel. We love taking our friends here to show off a bit of Melbourne.

    We were a table of 6 sitting outside. The service was friendly and attentive enough but the music was a bit loud for us. One of our orders was missing a side dish order but the price was quickly adjusted. The food was a bit patchy. The pastas were great but the calamari was pretty ordinary (straight from a frozen bag?) and the salads were disappointing and not as good as DOC in Mornington. Overall it was a pleasant but not fabulous meal out.
