A Beautiful venue. Food not as good as previous years. And less food with a higher cost.

Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea. Nice option to have a traditional, or purely savoury, tea. A variety of tea options which were topped up on request. Staff were extremely courteous.

The room was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a good atmosphere without being over busy. We were made to feel comfortable and were greeted and taken to our table straight away. It was nice to have a top up of tea without it costing extra. There was a choice of savoury including a cheese scone with chutney, or sandwiches plus sweet selection with scone, jam and cream. We asked if we could pick and mix but were not able to. You had to choose the sweet option or savoury option. One of us would have liked a plain scone and not a cheese one and swapped these, however they all tasted delicious. There were a choice of sandwiches already plated, instead of one filling per person, which is always nice. The only downfall was that the bread was dry as though it had been left out without cover. I would go back and recommend, but for the price, I would expect moist bread next time.

Not as good as last couple of years, sandwiches a bit dry, also having little kids sitting on the floor playing with food is not nice when you come for your experience, think you should have adult only days and times, and then times when kids can come.

A table of 6 went booked the Festive afternoon tea. Unfortunately we had to send the sandwiches back as the bread was stale, clearly they had been sat all day and I had to remove cling film from my cake stand. It was very noisy and the staff seemed overstretched as they certainly had maximimized all of the space. We also had a table by the toilets and there were a number of children that were running in out of the toilets in a game of chase. However, the table was set beautifully and the overall christmas decorations were lovely.

It was set up in a lovely festive way, the staff were nice but it was extremely busy and set up like a canteen. The food for the price was average, nothing was personal or homemade, just bought in, poor quality sandwiches and normal cakes. Lots of tea choices and Prosecco upgrade, but overall for the money it was not great value. Nice little money spinner for Christmas.
