   Amazing Italian food! The pasta is all fresh made and sauces are fresh made as well. It is outstanding. It’s a very small place, so definitely plan on reservations and keep this in mind. Servers are very polite and quick. We will be back, it’s our new favorite in the area.

   Our first visit and it was outstanding. Excellent service, finally Italian food done right, and the ambiance was perfect.The red snapper puttanesca was impeccable. Husband ordered the triangular tube shaped pasta with meatballs (I can’t remember the name but it’s a signature dish) and he loved it. Definitely order the caprese or burrata. You can’t get more authentic fresh mozzarella than that. We will be back!

   It was a pleasure to meet you two and thank you for visiting the restaurant and taking time to review us. The lower scores on service were a bit confusing to me as we sat you an hour early and I personally didn't see any gaps in your service. We even shared the special moment regarding the photo. But either way, sorry we didn't deliver a high level of service in your eyes, hope you'll give us another chance. Grazie.

   It’s a sweet authentic little Italian restaurant in ok surroundings. We were looking for an authentic experience and selected based on awards and feedback. The restaurant was packed which is usually a really good sign. Many of the dishes, even though they sound / look like vegetarian, they are not. The meat quality was average at best. Overall, the food taste wasn’t for us but that might just be us. In addition, we didn’t like the smell inside the restaurant. It may have gotten water during one of the Hurricanes and wasn’t dried properly. Bottom line, it was energetic and people seemed to enjoy it a lot. Which is really good. It just wasn’t for us.

   First off thank you very much for visiting our restaurant and also for taking time to review and leave us feedback. The bottom line is you left not completely satisfied and that is a regrettable result for us. On our regular menu all of the dishes ingredients are listed and no meat is added unless specified. If you mention to the server you are vegetarian we are happy to walk you through many plentiful options (also vegan, gluten free). The restaurant did get some wind damage but was not flooded and I find your conclusion to be quite extreme. We keep a rigorous cleaning schedule and my only explanation which I explained privately is that red tide and fish kills have returned. Our restaurant faces the Gulf and with an easterly breeze this can affect Gulf Gate. Thank you, Grazie Mille.

   Dolce Italia has been our favorite Italian restaurant for years. We went there with another couple a few days ago. All four of us ordered a different entree and each of us loved the food. Never disappointed! Great food, get service! ❣️

    Another outstanding feast! Unfortunately, they are closing for vacation for a few weeks! We may be forced to cook at home!! Anyway, they deserve a rest Looking forward to heading back as soon as they return
