   There’s not enough words to describe what it’s like to dine at DonAlfonso 1890 on the 38th floor of the Habour Castle. It starts by valet parking at the front doors of Habour castle, from there you walk to the Don Alfonso elevator which takes you to the 38th floor . Welcome to the most amazing restaurant that I have ever been to in the city of Toronto if you can try and get a view from the lake take it. Best service staff in the GTA restaurant’s and the food is second to none period anywhere you eat anywhere in Canada and many other places in the World. Oh bye the way I forgot about the dry ice deserts served at the end. Thanks Diane & Rod

   Underwhelming experience. My wife and I were looking forward to a fine dining experience featuring Italian cuisine. While Don Alfonso may be a Michelin starred restaurant it definitely is not an Italian restaurant. We have dined at over a dozen Michelin restaurants in the world and this one doesn't add up. Service was on par, the wine list is decent and the food was good, but there are so many better spots where pretentiousness is not over the top and exquisite food is the star of the show. Maybe the preferred clientele is not people like us... Would not recommend even if the bill was half the $700 we spent.

   What an amazing culinary experience ❤️ from start to finish every single detail was met with total perfection. The staff are above par, the food is absolutely to die for, undescribably amazing. Not one thing was left desired after having been treated so well. I'd go back at least quarterly but will look for a table not so close to the breathtaking view ...im deathly afraid of heights and still managed to enjoy this little piece of heaven on earth!!!

   We had dinner at Don Alfonso 1890 last night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The service was excellent—professional, attentive, and made us feel well cared for. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing great attention to detail. The dining room itself was sleek and modern, creating a cool and elegant atmosphere. A lovely spot for a refined night out in Toronto.

   The restaurant has a $100 per person cancellation fee which is frankly outrageous. i made a reso anyways as this is a place my mother dearly wanted to look into for a family event this summer. Despite the hefty penalty, the restaurant tried to call me late at night after 1030, leaving a message insisting i call back to confirm the reservation. I did however no one answered the phone… frustrating! similarly, the next day i stared receiving text messages asking me to confirm i was on my way. We were indeed and we were well within the 15 minute grace period when the messages started arriving. I get this is some kind of snobby place that thinks it’s super important however the constant nagging and lack of response makes me realize these people think they’re far more important than their clients. Im sorry if our visit inconvenienced your establishment and you have some kind of issue with people no showing however this obsession with chastising your patrons comes across as conceited and condescending. Margaritas were honestly 5/10 and the food, while very fancy, left us hungry. Think we’ll do that upcoming event somewhere else thanks.

    Great location and view. Service was excellent. Food very good (small portions) but the extras treats made up for this.
