This is a hidden gem in the quiet town of Harrington Park. Beautiful bright restaurant, friendly service, and excellent food. For entree, I got the Salmon and shrimp pasta. I was so impressed with the on both salmon and shrimp were cooked. I wish all salmon were cooked this way. The fish was still moist, not burnt, absolutely delicious with soft creamy pasta at the bottom. It is also a huge dish, impossible to finish it all in one shot. We had very friendly service throughout the lunch. Our food came out on a decent pace. Drinks were good. Really happy to find such incredible restaurant in our neighbor town.Is this helpful?

I have been here in a lot of busy days but Christmas Day was one of the busiest days that I have seen this place the food was great the service took care of us we waived the water for the check I was not disappointed that I Made the reservation at donatella on The Christmas Day you guys rock just keep going throughIs this helpful?

Xmas Eve from hell! 1 way entrance to valet lot, no signage cars every direction & black ice. Entrance crowded w no hostess for 10 mins gave 7:30 reservation she abruptly stated “you’re gonna have to wait!” multiple x w/o our name. Pointed to our table near fireplace in decorated dining room, they were just eating their apps! She checked another table & disappeared. Went to bar to get out of the way, was covered in water & were ignored for another 10 mins by both tenders. Oddly was asked if we wanted a table for 2, brought us to a side room w/ no Xmas decor/music, acoustics, lighting like a funeral parlor, tables on top of each other so much so that the lady next to us interjected about the food, table to other side told us “good luck” after their food came out cold. Their waiter elbowed me in the head & just said sorry Ms & ran away! A worker asked if we were using our wine menu & ran away w it, our waiter took our drink order Tito’s/cranberry which was sour, pink, cloudy, in a martini glass & an old fashioned in a coke glass filled w ice. He insisted the ingredients were simply Tito’s + cranberry! Clearly NOT what I ordered based on the lack of attentiveness at the bar I was concerned it could have been roofied (not unheard of in neighboring restaurants) or had an allergic reaction to the whatever was in it. I walked it right to the bar myself, worker grabbed it, asked my table number lol & said she would remove it from the bill. As this was happening a woman was carrying her plate demanding the manger. Waiter came to take order w little time to view the menu, said the kitchen told him they were busy & couldn’t wait for me to read it, had to order now! I asked him if he wanted us to leave! He walked away, we decided to leave w no where to go on Xmas eve! My bf tried to pay for the drink he took a sip out of & after 8 mins no one took money. Guest in lot livid over raw food served to table of 15 who flew in for Xmas Eve Valet stated we weren’t the only ones leave!Is this helpful?

They over booked on Christmas Eve. Had other families with earlier time slots waiting for over 45 minutes. Helpless host couldn’t even tell us when we were going to be sat. Management had valet running back and forth on dangerous icy pavement. Super irresponsible and unorganized. Luckily we were locals and decided to go to The Hill which was fantastic even last minute. Very nice Christmas Eve dinner, although the restaurant seemed to be overbooked and the poor waiters were frazzled; one of the six entrees ordered was forgotten and left in the kitchen until we reminded the staff that it was missing. Our waiter also neglected to put the bottle of wine we ordered on the check and we had to remind him, for which he was very appreciative. I'm sure this disorganization isn't customary on regular nights. There was one exceptional entree -- the Pollo portofino -- with the rest being good. The table top, though, was somewhat uneven, which made putting drink glasses down a bit precarious. Atmosphere was okay; in future reservations I would request the upper dining area, though, as it has better decor and more appealing lighting. But, overall, an acceptable and festive dining experience on a challenging night for any restaurant.Is this helpful?

Horrible experience on Christmas Eve. They jammed us in like sardines our food took 45 minutes the lobster was cold the fish was raw and the steak was still mooing. We left without eating waiting for the valet to get our car and the valet girl crashed back up into 2 brand new cars in the parking lot. Never againIs this helpful?

We had a great party the service was very attentive cautious with our family, Evan thought we had few seniors on a group, that they had no patient I try to calm down, but the servers delivered if they were 10 stars I would give that to you, and the ownership should be proud of their staff Food was fantastic big portions for the price and very affordableIs this helpful?

My husband took me for my birthday and we had a wonderful experience here. Our waiter nick was excellent! Service was excellent. Place is a bit stark. Def needs a real warm & comfort / inviting overhaul. Food was good, other than my husbands fish. It was actually spoiled. My sole was delish.. desserts were meh. Definitely has potential, they need a real overhaul of the decor & a boot camp cooking class menu revamp. .Is this helpful?
