   The venue is beautifully decorated and has a lot of potential, but the limited space significantly impacts the overall experience. The tables are placed too close together, making it difficult to move around without bumping into others while you are eating. This lack of space led to frequent interruptions as people brushed past our table. While I appreciated the strict dress code—it added a touch of elegance—I believe a code of conduct should also be enforced. Several guests were standing up and dancing provocatively during dinner, which made it hard to enjoy the meal in peace. This is a restaurant not a club. Overall, the ambiance and concept are promising, but these issues detracted from the experience.

   First time visiting. Went during happy hour and ended up ordering everything twice—it was that good. The Dove cocktail was hella good—definitely recommend. Our server Kennedy was excellent and super attentive. You wouldn’t even guess she was new. Great experience all around!

   Mother’s Day Brunch was ruined. They were having system issues and could not find our 1100 reservations. The hostess was rude to both my mother and myself when we inquired about the reservations. I literally asked her was she ok. The fish was briny and the grits were runny. The steak arrived cold. The eggs had no flavor. The music was extremely loud. We couldn’t even have a conversation. Then during our meal they crammed a table in the small corner by our table(raised chairs over our heads multiple times, blocking us in) unapologetically! The party of the crammed table screaming so loud trying to communicate over the loud music. Chicken and waffles were good as well the fried shrimp. The oxtail hash was good I wish it had more oxtail meat on it. I requested my eggs be on the side but they still arrived on top of the hash. The Cons outweighed the Pros and the experience was so awful I know I won’t be returning.

   We arrived for reservation and ordered drinks and food at the same time… drinks took about 30 minutes and some food had come out by this time. One of my friends didn’t get her drink until an hour later… I ended up cancelling my order because i was no longer hungry! The last bit of food came and hour and a half after seating and the snapper was extremely dry and overcooked… I have had some great experiences but this one was the absolutely worst! Additionally, every time they celebrated a birthday the music got sooo loud you cannot even hear your guests at the table, this was extremely distracting and became annoying

    It was our first time at Dove Houston a s we loved everything about it. We will definitely be coming again. The ambiance, service, and food was chefs kiss.
