   We went for an early dinner on Sunday night and despite it being relatively uncrowded, our service was super slow from beginning to end. Our shrimp scampi appetizer was delicious. We ordered a salad and pizza afterwards and a second round of drinks. 10-12 minutes went by and still no drinks. Our waiter was no where to be seen. Our pizza then came out about 20 minutes later - still no drinks and no salad. We had not seen our waiter so we asked the lady who delivered our pizza (with no plates) to please cancel our salad and drinks. We were ready to leave by that point and asked to close. We walked over to Jose for drinks and dessert and were glad we did so. We will not waste our time or money on Drake's again.

   Birthday Celebration #2 -We headed to Drake’s for the man’s second celebration of the weekend, marking our second visit there. The menu had changed a bit since our last time, but the ambiance remained fantastic. We continue to love the attentive service and live music. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp cocktail and crab scampi. The shrimp (4) were massive, and the cocktail sauce was spot on. The crab claws (5) were absolutely delicious, and the accompanying sauce was so good I saved it to use on my mashed potatoes. For our entrées, I had the crab cake, and he chose the ribeye (medium well), and we shared a side of mashed potatoes. The crab cake was outstanding, with a perfectly crisp top layer and plenty of flavorful crab. The ribeye was cooked exactly how he likes it—tender, flavorful, and just juicy enough (though I would have preferred medium). Drinks-wise, I enjoyed three Bogart’s Gimlets and a shot of Don Julio Añejo, while he had three Manhattans, a shot of Michter’s, and we split a beer. The drinks were tasty, but neither of us felt tipsy—interpret that as you will regarding the pour strength. We did mention we were celebrating a birthday, but there were no special treats or mentions for us. We noticed other tables receiving birthday cakes, cotton candy, etc., so it seems you might have to request or pay for those. Not a big deal, but worth noting for anyone expecting a complimentary celebration gesture. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return for the ambiance, live music, and excellent food. The total cost was $436, including the tip.

   Absolutely amazing experience. We went there for my wife’s birthday and it could have not turned out better. Staff was amazing and Food was fantastic. We will definitely be back, I’m excited to try the spicy fried rice.

   Our food and service were good. The crowd completely changes once 8 pm rolls around and my friends and I were shocked the inappropriate dress that was allowed in despite their dress code. I mentioned to manager but she was not concerned.

   Small hidden gem! Nothing fancy on the outside but inside packs a great punch! Ambience, service, music and most of all the food is phenomenal! Prices are fair!

   The food is okay. Honestly for the cost of each menu item the food should be better. In addition I have an issue paying for my reservation and being limited to a set time to eat, pay and vacate the table. Seriously having your watch the time to make sure two people are sting or done and out within 1 hour 15 mins. It feels rushed; negative experience overall. The best thing about Drakes is the restaurant design. Good for a Martini but pass on the food.

    I think the menu has changed. There were a few items that were no longer in the menu. Also some of my food came out cold. However, Luis was great.
