    We both had the scallops which were phenomenal! They forgot to bring our salads however and we didn’t say anything until we were leaving. Would be nice to get something comped for our next visit.

    Food was outstanding - shrimp cocktail, chopped salad, lamb lollipops, walleye and asparagus. Service was a little irregular. The shrimp cocktail was served before drinks. I had to ask twice for a napkin. We were there on Saturday evening before a concert and as the 2nd floor dining room filled up, it became noisier. I loved the first floor ambience with the extensive bar and some tables. We were seated upstairs, which is also a lovely room, although I would have preferred the first floor.

    It's a nice restaurant. I'm doing Keto so my options were very limited and I can't drink alcohol and so I'm not sure if that made our waiter less enthusiastic. But he was minimally attentive. The food was just ok. Two steaks, my wife was celebrating her birthday, a fact I had mentioned when I made the reservations but the waiter would not have offered their birthday brownie desert if we had not asked if they do anything. My wife enjoyed her steak and lobster tail but had to ask for dipping butter. My steak was cooked medium as ordered but had a lack of seasoning and a charcoal like bitterness to the steak that left an after taste. The restaurant is pricey. A meal for two and we were at 182 before tip with only one glass of wine no desert. Despite the mediocre service I left a 20% tip. I should mention that my wife's steak was brought to the table without the lobster tail the waiter had to go back and get it, then it had no dipping butter. My steak was supposed to have some DeJur sauce on the side but it wasn't included. Overall it was a shoulder shrug experience. I'm not really planning to go back, but you may like many of their options which I could not try.

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary with them and it was perfect! Jack, the owner, was very hospitable and Nicole, our server, exceeded our expectations! The Chef was on point with everything and our food could not have been better – shrimp appetizer, bone-in tenderloin, and scallops! We will be visiting your location again very soon. Thank you for the perfect evening!

    Ambiance was great! Dinner wait staff appeared a little new and inexperienced for a fine dining restaurant. The short rib ravioli had great flavor, but the pasta was undercooked. Ribeye steak needed some seasoning. Yukon whipped potatoes were cold and under seasoned as well. Scallops good. Salmon good. We want to try the lobster macaroni and cheese, so we will be back! Best wishes!

    The only negative was being seats by a group of 8-10 VERY loud men. I could barely hear my date talk at times. The food was AHmazing. We will be back!

    We were very pleased that the latest rendition of this place exceeded our expectations. 33 years ago we had our first “Big” date here when it was the Blue Marlin. Every version of this place since the Marlin has been good. Draper Bros really surprised us with everything in a fantastic way. Probably the best steak I’ll eat this year. 45 day dry aged ribeye. Nice cocktails and wine list. I’m sure i will stop by just for cocktails if not for a meal. Well done team.
