   Christmas Eve at Dressler's has become a family tradition. It's a great way to get the family together without Mom having to cook. This year, the restaurant was extremely busy and the kitchen was unable to keep up. Salads and wine came quickly but we waited well over an hour for entrees. Our server Michael was great but his hands were tied. Everyone was nice about it and when the food came it was great, but overall the experience was less than we've come to expect from our favorite restaurant.

   We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. The scallops and lamb chops were perfect and the service from Peyton was even better. Highly recommend!

   Started off wonderfully through appetizers and salads. After that point it is now the place we will never visit again. It was encouraging upon getting seated to meet our server that has been with Dressler’s for six years. At that point we expected a professional dining experience. After some wonderful appetizers and salads, we commented how nice it was to not be pressured with the main course. That moment of comfort was eventually replaced realizing they either forgot to enter our entrees, or there was a serious problem with the kitchen. Patiently we waited. I emphasize Patiently. Then after far too long the server indicated our food would be coming shortly. It was not a confident statement, but more of trying to cover. Finally, just after 8:30 for a 7:00 reservation (which we were early for), the entrees started to arrive. My wife received a cold filet and my daughter a normal filet. My wife never wants to send something back, but it was cold. Needless to say the entrees for myself and my other daughter had yet to arrive. Finally all entrees are at the table. The previously cold filet is cut open to reveal raw instead of medium. My lamb was tough and fat, and the other steak was also very rare. At this point 1 wonderful filet and 3 entrees that any respectable kitchen would not have served. We unfortunately had to send my wife’s filet back again. This time the manager arrived to apologize and ask if we wanted it brought up or to go. Really!?!? Was this a fast food chain? This should be embarrassing for the actual owner or chef. You charge $60 for a steak and give up? I asked for a new steak. Eventually a new filet arrived and we finished our meal. Can’t say having to wait and worry about our food made for a good holiday dining experience. When the bill arrived I say the manager did step up and removed the filet and cocktails. At this point though it was more like try to get rid of us rather than acknowledging their failure.

   Excellent service from everyone working there - a really warm and relaxed vibe. The food was good and a Groupon deal made it fantastic value! We will return.

   Excellent service, excellent food!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my birthday dinner. We started with the crab dip, the G’s house salad. For our entrees I had the Just for the Halibut and my boyfriend had the Crispy Rock Shrimp & Pancetta Linguini and for a side, the Mac & Cheese. For dessert, the apple pie ala mode. SO GOOD!!

   Was somewhat cold in the far back right corner facing the city. Service was very good. Food was good but used to be more memorable

   Appetizers were good, my shrimp and grits were good. My wife was not too happy with her scallops. They were undercooked. Even though you can eat them raw, she did not prefer them to be raw. They took them back and cooked them a little more, but not much more. I agree with several other people in the reviews that the atmosphere is really lacking and it is someone like a cafeteria. No ambience whatsoever.
