Drift Mezcal Bar + Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with menus full of locally sourced and expertly curated culinary dishes.

Start the day with Chilaquiles, a Breakfast Burrito, or Huevos Rancheros, or a full selection of lighter bites like Avocado Toast, or Fruit Parfaits. Lunch and dinner includes a wide selection of tacos, tortas, and salads, like Quesa Birria Tacos or the Al Pastor Torta.

Drinks are served all day, with deep pours of smoky mezcal served straight up or mixed into classic cocktails, like the Paloma, Mezcal Margarita, or the Oaxacan Old Fashioned. As you sit and sip Mexico’s favorite agave-based spirit, Baja breezes might waft in with the smoke of agave roasting in Oaxaca.

Nice ambiance with good service. Pricing of menu is good. Selection on menu falls short. I was disappointed to not see any "signature" offerings. It was simply all your traditional Mexican cuisine offerings. However, what had was delicious.

While a good location and nice ambience the food was really disappointing. Had the worst fish taco of my life - it was like a fish finger on a bad tortilla. Had the al pastor tacos which were also not good. Lastly had the shrimp quesadilla which was ok but not great. I would never go back nor recommend.

We saw some reviews and decided to try. The food was great! Best steak burrito ever. Drinks were really good. The service attentive. We will go again. (We are very particular about giving good reviews but this was great)

Delicious cocktails. Serene space. Humane food portions (plenty; not grossly too much as in many restaurants). A very pleasant experience. We’ll be back.

Don’t expect a fast experience. If you do you will be disappointed. Food and cocktails are great but they take their time. Worth it in our experience. Great place to chill for a few hours. Great Caesar and Shrimp Tacos.

Relaxing vibe with great small plates and creative cocktails. Don’t expect big entrees, do not be in a rush, know they don’t take cash and enjoy.

Drift Kitchen + Mezcal Bar is a true hidden gem with incredible food and cocktails. The service was exceptional, and the staff made us feel completely at home. If you’re a mezcal enthusiast, this spot is a must-visit—their selection is impressive! The tacos and tortas are easily some of the best in San José del Cabo.
