DSRT CLUB! Another creation brought to you by the owners of RD RNNR. In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert.

With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes. We are focused on offering a great feel in ambiance, amazing food and exceptional service all wrapped in a tight bow.

    We have eaten there many times and brought friends this time for their excellent hamburger. Unfortunately they have removed it from their dinner menu .

    Definitely recommend. Fun atmosphere. Attentive service. Madyson our server was great. Recommend the Sea Bass entree. Hubby had the Chicken Pops and Green Salad…he loved them. Fun desert Cookie/Brownie was yummy. Can’t wait to try the Scallops next time!

    Our server, Parker, was abrupt and rude and charged the wrong couple for the desert order. My first drink, simple Beefeater Gin on the rocks, tasted as though watered down. I took back to the bar myself and watched as it was replaced, (they got it right 2nd try). Food was so so. Bar staff, hostesses, and bus boy were very friendly, polite, and competent. Kudos to those folks. Overall a disappointing experience. Will likely not return

    Our waiter, Jerry was very accommodating when we asked to move to another table to put distance between us and a diner drowning in perfume. Once moved we had a delicious dinner. We would definitely come back if we were out in CA again. The dining experience was a delightful surprise.

    The restaurant has great atmosphere and the service, excellent. I would have given every category 5 stars but I was very disappointed with the lamb chops. They varied in doneness, were somewhat tough with little seasoning and the mint and pimento sauce was runny and not tasty. Two of my dining companions were happy with their steaks and the third was able to get the kitchen to make the muscle appetizer into a dinner with pasta which he enjoyed. Very accommodating! I would recommend dsrt club but avoid the lamb chops!
