Welcome to Dua Vino (open for dinner) + The Bar (our 3rd floor restaurant and bar open for lunch and dinner).

Our main floor restaurant offers a contemporary Italian cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds with dishes like baci di mama with truffle oil, fritto misto, scallops, and a 28-day dry aged ribeye. But don't forget to save room for our famous Mama Drita's cheesecake. As you step inside, the atmosphere will immediately transport you to a world of ambiance, with perfectly dimmed lights, hand-painted walls, and upbeat jazz music setting the mood for a memorable evening.

Our third floor restaurant and bar boasts it's own menu with shareable entrees like flatbreads, steak tips and a mouth-watering wagyu burger. With windows that fully open it is quite the spot for lunch or dinner with a view.

Our restaurants are housed in a beautifully renovated historic building in the heart of downtown South Lyon, where no detail was overlooked in preserving its original character.

First, off the positives - our waiter was top notch, helpful, attentive, offered good suggestions. The food was good but not really a "wow" for such an upscale restaurant and the price. We split a nice salad, husband thought the lobster ravioli was great, I had an average pasta dish - the waiter was helpful and making sure it avoided my food allergies - greatly appreciated. This dish could have been warmer and being we were seated by a constantly opening door on a cold night, my dish got cold quick and the sauce got real thick at that point. This restaurant is literally a block from our house, so very convenient. Now a couple of things that could be improved. Everyone dining here had a reservation, no one's table was ready when they arrived (seated next to the hostess stand). Being our table had a couple just starting, they offered us the only empty table which just happened to be by a constant stream of people and a constant stream of cold air. Plus we were seated right by the hostess stand. The one hostess scrolled on her phone and another was constantly opening the door and looking outside - what was she looking for?? Maybe they didn't need three hostesses, if they had time to scroll on their phone or go in & out all the time. It was a cold table, sat with my coat wrapped around my legs, glad I wore a sweater. It was definitely not the ambience we were hoping for. By the way if you haven't tried the upstairs bar - it is great. Being it is close, we will be back on a week day night, not on a holiday.

Great ambiance for NYE! Repeat customers and we made reservations for the evening. All of our meals were delicious; however, the entries could have been warmer. They need to come up with a better bread selection since it is a paid for item and not served complimentary. Some warm sourdough would have tasted so much better...

Here’s the good, the focaccia was delicious, the scallops and the Marsala were tasty. The Marsala had a decent amount of mushrooms and sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The bad, the pasta was from a box. I would expect upscale Italian to make their own pasta. The rigatoni looked like Barilla’s boxed pasta and the Italian sausage was inedible due to it being burned. We addressed the issue with the waiter, he offered nothing for the error. Also, their two recommended pastas were sold out adding to the disappointment. Lastly, we noted a special occasion and it was ignored. It’s a shame because we really looked forward to trying the restaurant. I am a little saddened by the experience

Amazing evening! Only negative was that there was a loud group of 10+ men, but understandable considering it’s the holiday season. And they were only very loud for about 10 min. They did apologize to everyone in the dining room. One off incident. But otherwise an amazing evening and place!!

The food was good, but I’ve had better. Ordered the chicken marsala, it was ok. The drinks were really good. It’s a pretty small place and the tables are very close together and difficult to even walk between the tables.

Agree with others that the dining space can be loud. So many restaurant spaces, today, neglect soft surfaces that absorb sound. Other than that, the food and service was superb. Do try the focaccia and the bolognese!
