   Lovely meal, and such good service. The menu offered so much more choice than the one online or in the window! In fact spoilt for choice. We both had the fish options - simply cooked but delicious, just as should be.

   Universal praise from our 4 diners for great food. Not sure I've ever had a better dressed crab and I could have happily eaten everything on the relatively short menu.

   Of course this is a traditional reputable restaurant with a renowned reputation. The food was of good quality, not cheap but the Dover sole was beautiful. I was disappointed by the coffee and petits fours, which were basically chocolates. Nice chocolates though. It was a bit annoying to be constantly asked how things were. Once is okay. Also the card machine gave me the option of adding 15% or other amounts to tip, and embarrassing with the waitress standing there. Quite hard work at the end of the meal! Next time we'll take cash.

   Both my mum and I were, as usual, treated well with delicious food and a lovely bottle of Pinot noir

   Sunday lunch, we choose the 2 course set menu and choose roast lamb & beef, good sized portions, great food will go again

    Food was outstanding, haven’t been here for a while , but my favourite seaside restaurant. My scallops and lobster were the best I’ve tasted , my partners mackerel was gorgeous Beautiful sea views and the fresh sea air just made it perfect. Our lovely waitress Cheryl couldn’t do enough for us. Wonderful day
