   Beautiful meal. The service was really good with friendly staff. We will be visiting again and would highly recommend it as a place to eat or just to have a drink.

   6 freinds over 60 good was beautiful 3 had the peppered steak pie 3 ordered salmon only enough salmon for 1 person so other two were offered hake as alternative which they thoroughly enjoyed service was excellent as was food and very reasonable first visit but won’t be our lady

   We are locals and visit the Eagle quite regularly for drinks. We would really like the food to be good, but unfortunately, it never is. When the current owners/landlord took over a few years ago it was great to see the cosmetic improvements and the food then was excellent, unfortunately not anymore

   There were 4 of us and we each had 2 courses on the Sunday Lunch menu and were each very pleased with our choices. I had the butterfly king prawns and then Lamb Rump roast. Both were beautiful and the portions were huge. It was quite quiet when we went in but quickly filled up, meaning it was quite lively as we came towards the end of our meal. The food was lovely, so we’ll definitely be back.
