The waitress was obviously new but very attentive despite the crowd. She checked back often and was pleasant and timely with the bill.

I so enjoyed dining at The Eagle's Nest on Wednesday evening. It was karaoke night and the singers were excellent! Listening to them and looking out on the sunset over Prescott was beautiful! Also, our server Joseph was outstanding! So attentive, considerate, aware. We all enjoyed our celebration!

I made a reservation and even confirmed my reservation via text the day before, only to be surprised on arrival that the restaurant was close. The restaurant regular opening hours was two hours after my reservation. I went to the restaurant next door which I’m guessing shared the same kitchen as the Eagle’s Nest. The waitress was very nice and accommodating but it took a very long time for someone to even acknowledge us. The food was good and the view was ok but having the original restaurant not open permeated the entire experience negatively.

The view is way better than the food. We had the Southwest Colossal Shrimp. They were far from colossal except for the “Men in Black” shrimp head and legs they put on the plate. Which were totally unnecessary. The Jalapeno, Watermelon Radish, Roasted Corn, and avocado were just julienned, shaved and sliced vegetable with zero flavor. The Bloody Mary Cocktail sauce was just cocktail sauce from a jar. Cost $18 The Warm soft Bavarian Pretzel was two frozen pretzel sticks overly salted with I have no idea what the sauce was. It said it was an Arizona ale beer cheese but was more like a soupy bland broken cheese sauce with no resemblance to a cheese sauce. Cost $10 I had a dirty martini which was fine but if you order a dirty martini don’t you think it should have olives? Our service was fine. And even when our server asked how it was… I hesitated and she even said mehhh. The jazz band was the highlight of the experience. Thank goodness I didn’t spend more for an entree. Go for the view, take some photos but I wouldn’t eat there.

We stayed the night at the Prescott Resort to celebrate our anniversary. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Eagles Nest. Cons: The food was pretty bad. I hate to say that but, all four meals served were cold and overpriced. The fries were hard like they were made hours before. The chicken in my sandwich was overcooked and chewy. The toast had fake oil butter brushed on it that tasted like oil. The eggs were overcooked and cold. The breakfast potatoes were clearly old and chewy. Pros: All of the staff that served us were friendly and attentive. They were all real gems and that is not something you find often these days. I can’t help but wonder if they were trying to compensate for what they knew was overpriced bad food. The cocktails were tasty (though small and overpriced). There was a sense of confusion amongst the staff regarding leadership issues. There was a band playing, which at times is nice. However we were there for a quiet anniversary dinner with a beautiful view and conversation between each other. The only open restaurant had a band playing loudly right in the middle of the tables. We requested to take out food on the patio and the server kindly accommodated going through double doors to serve us. That really saved the evening. We would have preferred the fine dining option but it was closed and they said they now “merged” the dining room and lounge to serve guests. So sad to see such a beautiful establishment suffering.

First I didn’t know it really isn’t a restrauant it’s just a few tables in the lobby area. There was no music. They told us they ran out of a lot of food. We only had a choice of two items. One was brisket and it was so tough we couldn’t eat it. Food was cold. We were told it’s because they are not a real restaurant the have to carry it always from the hotel. Asked for drinks but we couldn’t have the drinks we ordered I mean any of them because they didn’t have the mixes they needed. We just wanted a nice dinner drinks some good food and a nice time. Don’t waste your money. Our bill was 75.00 for two. The other nites we ate at Cracker Barrel and Golden Corral. There is also a great Mexican restaurant right down the road which was great. They were all great and a lot cheaper.
