    A disappointing solo visit to Eddie V’s falls short of Usual Standards. As a frequent guest of Eddie V’s, I’ve come to expect a consistently elevated dining experience. One marked by attentive service, well prepared food, and a refined ambiance. Unfortunately, my solo visit in Father’s Day fell noticeably short in several key areas, casting a shadow on an otherwise special occasion I had set aside for a quiet reflection and good food. Service: Where my experience unraveled was from the very start. I arrived 15 minutes early to my 5:45 reservation and was met not with a warm welcome, but rather a lukewarm, almost dismissive acknowledgment from the host staff. I then waited nearly 45 minutes to be seated while observing eight other parties, some with later reservation times, escorted to their tables before me. I do understand that a one top is not a high priority, but not once was the delay explained or even acknowledged. Once seated the service from my waitress was notably better. She was responsive and quick to take my order. However, there was a noticeable misstep: she initially brought the wrong side dish. Though she corrected the mistake promptly, it raised eyebrows given the simplicity of a table for one. Food: The meal itself was underwhelming. I ordered the New York strip steak and added a lobster tail. I requested my steak be cooked at medium, but what arrived leaned closer to medium well to well done. The lobster was fine, though unremarkable. The truffle macaroni and cheese, a personal favorite arrived noticeably cold, which further detracted from the experience. After such a lengthy wait just ti be seated, I opted not to send anything back, choosing to finish the meal without further delay. Overall Experience: Dining solo at Eddie V’s should feel just as refined and welcoming as when accompanied by a group. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling like an afterthought. The front of the house team and kitchen staff did not execute.

    The salmon was cooked very well, not dry or tough. The filet was butter-knife tender. Our waitor was on point. Very attentive. Wonderful Father's Day outing. Thank you.

    Great service from Brianna; smiles, polite, attentive, always there to inquire of need or assistance. Reception took Father’s Day family picture, printed and placed in a photo card. Food was presented nicely, delicious, on temperature.
