   Wes just one of the best waiters we ever had . The dishes are all Sharable and very tasty, many are interesting combinations of seasonings

   We loved Edgemar and it is a great addition to the Santa Monica restaurant "hot places to go." I thought the service was excellent (although we were there pretty early) and while a bit energetic in terms of noise, we had a lovely time. Great and interesting food.

   The ambiance, design and overall feeling of the Edgemar is great. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Unusual menu with little cohesion throughout the courses. The shrimp toast was incredible and I would consider coming back for that alone. We also had the fried chicken which was good. I really enjoyed the coleslaw, and we also had the butter chicken which I thought was ordinary. Def not great. Could have come out of a jar. For the amount of people in the restaurant the kitchen was slow, and then when we ordered dessert it took them over 20mins to cut a slice of cake (no ice cream or any needed chef attention needed.) They only discovered we hadn't received the desert once we alerted them. At this point most restaurants would say the desert is on us, but alas no. For this alone I think they need to have a policy if someone has to wait an extended amount of time it's on the house. If the restaurant has been full, of course, a different story, but may be only quarter to a third of people filled the restaurant.

   A lovely interior in the Gehry space with natural light, plants and well-arranged tables. Servers very friendly. Food is creative and attractively presented. A nice, LA experience.

   Fantastic spot in Santa Monica. Great space and vibe, extremely friendly and attentive staff and great food that was a real surprise and interesting modern take on high-end cuisine with asian touches. We were very impressed.

   Went to try the brunch. Checked the online menu, when we arrived the menu was completely different. They do not serve coffee,bread, or potatoes for brunch? 2nd dish arrived 30 minutes after the 1st. No communication between the waiter,kitchen and management. Just plain bad experience.
