   The excellent food at EDNA is surpassed only by the graciousness of the staff. The moment you walk in the door it feels like home. Our Sunday brunch special, eggs Benedict over ricotta cheese and roasted tomatoes was superb. And the coffee was great, too. Any day the special chicken vegetable soup is on the menu is a command performance. I’ve raved about EDNA before, but it just keeps getting better.

   First time at this restaurant and it was very delish! Service was top notch as well! The negative .... Chairs are extremely uncomfortable and took away some of the overall experience. Easy fix for the owners if they wish to do so.

   Our brunch at Edna was delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a warm and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The food was spectacular. Each dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour. Sharing this experience with friends made it even more special. Edna is a must-visit if you're looking for a top-notch brunch spot!

   Whenever I am in Halifax I go to Edna. The food is always absolutely outstanding. This time, they even knocked it absolutely out of the park, seriously. I will admit I have never been to a Michelin starred restaurant, but they must be it!!! All dishes were outstanding. My daughter and I shared a salad, appetizer, a pasta dish, apparently app sized, a scallop dish and a desert. We had to order a second pasta dish as it blew us away, cannot emphasis how good it was. I will say we often go for the specials, so the app was fish cakes, the pasta was black garlic and arugula bow tie pasta with basil pesto, boiled egg, ricotta, grilled asparagus and black bean chili (cold dish), and the seared scallops with arugula arancini, endive, asparagus, masago, dill, and smoked tomato beurre blank. we finished with the cinnamon sugar twisted fritter with bananas foster and Deedee's vanilla. OMG they were all so absolutely wonderful and out of this world, in particular the pasta and the scallops. I simply can not describe the balance of flavours and complexity or richness that were on show with these dishes. I will always ensure I go there when I am in town, and seriously, the folks at Michelin should get there and sample what they have to offer, if they have not already.

   we split the gnocchi and the Smashburger special both were so so so delicious! We had it for lunch and by supper already wished we had more! Our server was so welcoming..great experience as always We will be back soon

    Our experience was great, the service was quick and our server was very kind. The food came out quick and the chocolate mousse was amazing !
