   Food and service are outstanding. The energetic environment is a bit noisy but you can still carry on a conversation. Overall, we had a great experience and would return.

   We had an amazing night! The drinks (non alcoholic and alcoholic were fantastic!). The food was so tasty and incredible and the staff was so friendly accommodating and nice. We would come back in a heartbeat

   We had the most wonderful dinner at El Carlos Elegante! The atmosphere was cozy and warm, the service impeccable and the food was incredible. We did the El Carlos Experience and were so glad we did. Peter our waiter was so helpful and enthusiastic and the manager Michelle went over and beyond to make our first time at El Carlos memorable. We can’t wait to come back for another special occasion dinner!

   Such a cozy warm environment the moment you step inside. Service was as good as you can get. Our server Michelle was fabulous! Even brought extra items from menu for us to try since it was my birthday and our first time there. Beets, wine and crab cakes were fine if the best food I have had in Dallas. Will definitely be back!!

   Service is impeccable! We've been to the restaurant several times and love it. This time we found the main dishes - the chicken and the pork - not as well prepared as the fish we've had before. But the appetizers - surf and turf and brisket, the refried lentils and okra with shishitos, ALL of the handmade masas, the Mexican chocolate ganache, and the Jamaica margaritas were all extraordinary! We look forward to our next venture in.

   The first time was excellent, sat at the bar. Food, service and atmosphere was great. This was our second time at El Carlos Elegante on Christmas Eve. Made reso a few weeks ahead and the earliest we could get was 8:30pm. Little did we know they closed at 10pm on Christmas Eve. You would think this wouldn’t be a problem if you had reservations at 8:30.. last call for alcohol was at 9pm, which was ridiculous considering they were seating other tables at 9pm. We felt rushed by the server the entire time and they were pushing us out the door around 10:15pm. Any other night I’m sure this wouldn’t have been the case but at least let your 8pm and later reservations know last call will be at 9pm so we can decide to go elsewhere.

    We have been here a few times now and every time our experience has been 5 stars. From the valet to the dessert! Tonight we had the refried lentils, Caesar salad (a must have), the El Machete and the absolute best chicken dish we’ve ever had! The service is over the top too! If you haven’t been here, treat yourself and go!
