   First time dining at El Farallon. The property is stunning. After a lengthy, guided walk with our greeter to get to the restaurant, we were amazed. The restaurant is built into a cliff with ocean waves slowly crashing below us. Like nothing we’ve experienced before. The waiting area, the Champagne Terrace was the perfect way to begin the evening. The army of staff were friendly and attentive all evening. Once seated our server was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and again very attentive to our needs throughout the evening. The 2 musicians were the perfect accompaniment to the ocean crashing below. The four course dining experience made ordering pretty simple, choose your protein and side dishes as needed. Our food came out in a timely fashion. We both ordered the blue fin tuna. Our only issue was with how the blue fin tuna came out, one was cooked perfectly at the chefs recommended seared rare. The second dish was not cooked and it was a sinewy piece of fish. Not appetising. Other than that the experience in the whole was incredible. Would recommend and would definitely go back.

   Pricey $$$$ You’re paying for the view and ambience. Food was OK and extremely expensive. 15% gratuity included. Expect to stay there 3 to 4 hours.

   Food is very mid nothing special me and my friends we paid 209 dollars each expecting the food would be incredibly good but it’s very mid.

   The setting is a 12 out of 10… The champagne bar entrance is amazing and the over cliff setting is just awesome. But then we got to the food… The food was actually really really really mediocre and that is shocking to me at a place like this. The appetizers were really really bad and the lobster was super tough. The shrimp was the best thing that we had but something I could make in four minutes at my house. I was really disappointed in the food.

   Amazing evening with family. Food was delicious and plentiful. Surprised they had a very reasonable and traditional kids menu for my youngest.

   It was the most amazing experience and dinner we have ever had as you sat there and watched the whales go by and waves crashing against the rocks. The service was like none other. I would recommend this to anybody that's just staying in Cobb. You don't have to be staying at the resort to go to the restaurant.
